yes. highly recommend you just go to Tokyo, go to same shop and same SA, spend around $30,000 to build relationship. Then just go back to the same shop everyday and she'll offer you a B really quickly... (this is if you are lazy and don't want to spend your whole vacation to go to all the shops in Tokyo)
Really don't understand why people bother buying b/k in Hong Kong.. service is so bad and you never know how much you need to spend before your next offer
Well hoping to buy in HK is almost chanceless. Not only you have to spend decent amount of non-bag items but there is still no guarantee or committment from the shop. It may end up a waste of effort and money. Even if the SA decides to offer you one, you have no choice of size, color, leather etc and of course, it wont be a hot color.
Other than spending money, you will also be competing with their VIP and "close friend".
Two weeks ago, I saw a PTH speaking man picking up a 28 orange Kelly from H in HK and they said he is on waiting list. Isnt the waiting list gone long time ago?
I really feel bad about this.
I do agree that trying your luck outside of HK is easier.
And they keep on telling you to come back and check regularly cause they say they cannot hold, and will put on display immediately once received. Don't you think we all look like an idiot doing this?
It is also contradicting that some shops display B/ K or even L, and say "Not for sale, display only". If they cannot reserve, what would they do with this display items? If you cannot buy and order, why do they put up on display- to tempt you?
