Call police! That's what I did when my last maid stole my belongings. She was jailed for 6 weeks! There's actually no other options because once they started stealing things, they will keep doing it!!!! 家賊難防！
My friend called me over last weekend to ask the same thing and he ended up reporting the case to the police and now his Indo maid is in custody waiting for charges to be pressed. However, he is now suffering the works taking care of his 3 daughters.
But this isn't the first time he suspected, he rather take the hard way instead of keeping someone don't trust in home. I thing you should do the same as you never know what happening next.
My previous Indo was pretty good until she changed her hair style from long to short and always keep her number changes. If these things happen, please take extra care and monitor on her.
And like to share another thing, I always believe one needed to borrow money from a company, you must need a passport, but nowadays, this is not the case, as after i let my one go, someone called to look for her saying she owe them money. I really wonder how on Earth now people can lean money to these maid without holding anything but just a phone number!! Crazy
