Well... I let Natasha watch half of it on Monday and Tuesday, she sort of "Huh! Huh!" occassionally, but frankly speaking, half of it is still very long, almost half an hour. I let her listen to the whole of the CD everyday started from Monday, still don't know whether she's liking it or not.

Don't blame yourself, i think this kind of things happened on most of the moms.

Quite frankly, i dropped Lam Lam once before, last time i put her on my big bed while i'm doing household work at the sitting room.

I found her fell on the floor suddenly and crying loudly, at that time, she hasn't learn to roll over her body yet, so i really don't know how this happened. Luckily, i've a book (How to teach your baby to read) on the floor, her forehead just fell onto the book!

I found really really guilty and blame myself how come i was so careless and irresponsible. After that big lesson, i keep a really really big eye on her, and usually put her on the floor instead.

The part time helper really help me a lot, at least i could making more flashcard powerpoint while she is napping instead of doing household job.

The temperature will be dropped on Sat, so wear more clothes as well as your BB.

Have u made up your mind? Personally, I hope u would choose to stay with your baby instead of going back to work! I wish so much that I could have quitted my job right after Anson was borned.....

Same as andiecyw, I was also very guilty last time when Anson fell from my bed......I was sitting next to him but talking to my brother. My hubby comforted me and said 細路仔係要跌下先會大架 ! But of course, we need to be more careful la cos bb 唔需要跌都會大 ka ma! :mrgreen: Don't blame on yourself la, you don't want it to be happened!

don't blame yourself lah, now our babies are really active, we can't keep an eye on them every second ma.

The best we can do is to keep an safety environment for them lor (hehe, I'm good at comforting myself like "a-Q", but will feel much easier :mrgreen: )

in my case, I also 15/16 to be a full-time mom in the beginning, so I returned work after maternity leave. Which I finally found that I prefer taking care of baby instead of work, so I became a full-time mom when baby reaches 8 mths old.

The negative was : I couldn't breast feed Andrea due to strong pressure of work lor ( I pumped in the office for a month but no milk at the end....).

These two weeks, apart from the wed class in Kindermusik by Catherine, I had make-up class for Anson on Monday and another class in Gymboree on Friday. In fact, it's quite tired after taking him to these classes (3 times a week!!!). Luckily he enjoyed the classes and was tired as well ....... slept like a sheep after coming back from the class :mrgreen: .

I also think that the 百科圖 card is not enough, i will also download from Tina's web site and show the powerpoint to Lam Lam, as Lam Lam like to read powerpoint more.

Last time Ms. Cheng of GC suggest me to put Lam Lam in her high chair to read flash card, but failed, she don't like it and being fussy when i put her in.

Then i try to put her on the floor and sitting with the support of a 腰果型 cushion, she will turn around immediately, she don't like to sit yet! She loves to lie down on her tummy, therefore i'll grasp the time and show her very very quickly, sometime she will look at it, but sometimes she will crawl toward the card and me!!

I also found that Lam Lam don't like dot dot card, when showing to her, she will turn her face out, but when i change to Chinese phrases, she will look at them again! ?-( I'm still 摸索 the most effective method.

Well, as andiecyw said we still 摸索 the best way to teach our bb. The method used by 三之三 is not the same as the book. But I find it hard to follow the method of the book myself cos I need to grasp a very good timing to flash the cards to him.....he is too impatience to wait until I finish reading a 綱領, even I speak very fast

. So I sometimes can just show him 3 cards and reading 1 綱領 each. Maybe until he gets used to method, I will increase the number of cards and 綱領!

Guess what? Today when I login BK with Anson, he suddenly said 'tasha' when he saw Natasha's big head photo ?-( ?-( ?-( !!! Really surprised! Usually I won't let him close to the computer when it is on, but today when I was typing the last message, he woke up, so I just hold him and finished my typing.....when he saw Natasha's big head photo, he spoke lightly 'tasha'. I thought I listened wrongly and asked him 'who is she?' He said it again loudly 'tasha'!

Amazing!

I tried to show Anson with powerpoint, but it didn't work as he liked to touch the keybroad and the mouse more then looking at the monitor. So I would also ask the quote for printing 百科圖 from the printing house and compare the cost if printing by myself.

As I remember, Ms Cheng also suggested u to put the bb onto the BB car where she would be more comfortable. Have u tried? But I think if she feels comfortable even she lies down with her tummy, it should be ok.

Bravo!!! Anson! Bravo!!

Remember how Anson always wonder around during gatherings, as if it's too bored for him to sit with babies!? That clever boy is actually watching and learning at the same time. It's really amazing how kids grow!!

Actually, we were gonna named her Tasha at the first place, but on the second thought, might as well named her Natasha and called her nicks like Tasha or Tash. We are trying to teach her Natasha first but we prefer to call her Tasha.

It's really amazing to hear Anson to say "tasha"! What's a clever boy he is! You must teach him more so that he could learn even faster!

I've tried Ms. Cheng method putting Lam Lam in her high chair or stroller, but she don't like it at all! She will cry and turn her face round! I show 3 sets 百科圖 to her today, she seem to be interested in the picture and staring at them. She didn't crawl forward to catch the card this time! Therefore i'll keep trying!

Do u think that sometimes the name of the animal is a bit difficult, i've to check the dictionary for the prounciation.

Maybe u could change into wireless keyboard and mouse, so that u could put them aside while showing to Anson. As there will be too many 百科圖, i think it will costs a lot if print them all out. Also i think not all the powerpoint in good quality! I will only print out the 百科圖 w good quality.

Longtime no see la~
can online today la!!!!
I had moved to DB about one week. It's really a nice place. Ralph is quite happy to live in here coz there are many babies in DB. But the bad thing is 搬屋好辛苦!!!!

I keep giving 猴棗散 and 橙樹化痰素 to Raplh about three days, it seem works on him. he seems no more running nose and 痰痰.

I agree with u ,some of the name of the pictures are quite difficult to prounce. I also need to check dictonary.

That's good Lam Lam is very enjoy to learn the 百科圖. I only give 2 sets of 百科圖 to Ralph everyday.
Coz he seems not very interested. When i show to him he alwaysl runaway :cry:

For the phonic kids, Ralph is really enjoy to watch the vcd at the first week. but now he seems not interested. Don't know y? Now he is very interested to watch the Disneys' VCD. Even watch the same VCD everyday. How about anson and natasha?
