Hi Cicy: 6-7oz not bad! Don't worry abt. his weight gain. His weight gain will be more obvious sooner or later.
Few days ago, 悅晴also prefer water to milk. Same thing happened to another friend of mine 2. We thought it's bec. of the weather. 悅晴likes cereal but hates fruits. So, may be yr. bb will like cereal when u introduce to him later. Nothing to do w/. breastmilk i guess. Besides, I've also gave fresh fish congee to 悅晴, she loved it so much!!! (悅晴表姐4-1/2月開始食, 現在6個月了; 她也是BF bb)

I also tried to feed my son 1 formula at night usually he can drink 6-7oz at that time. Also he has 少少rice cereal but his weight gain is still very poor.

And today is worst, he won't drink at all, just seeing the bottle of milk he starts crying non-stop. He will eat pear puree but won't eat the cereal because I use breastmilk. He will drink water from bottle but not milk. I really really don't know what to do any more.

但您泵奶量並不太差吧, 應未要補其他食品, 吃其他食品可能也會影響奶量。其實, 不是泵密D便可以解決嗎?

the 6-7oz is only the 1 feed at night. during the day he usually only drinks 2-4 oz that's it, very little.

Also I went to health center yesterday and really don't know whether to stop feeding my son cereal and wait until 6 months or not. I really don't know.

Thanks for answering.

I'm asking because my son seems to only 埋身 for a few minutes less than 10 mins sometimes. I heard that some babies when they get older they will eat faster, so I was just wondering if that's the case law.

This morning,when I went to work, I saw Megan and her Grandma in the garden to enjoy the sun-shine. I wanted to go and say Hi but I am running out of time. Megan looks a little bit different and I think maybe she grows bigger than I saw her in March.

Believe that every baby will look different when I see them next month!!

謝謝你的advice.
　
我昨天放假，於是便餵細ｂｂ食糊仔，　先吃咗６ｏｚ奶, 再嘗試餵1湯匙米糊 (1oz奶+1湯匙米糊), 全吃掉, 但唔夠喉, 再給1湯匙米糊, 全吃掉, 仍然哭, 我便抱起他, 他又OK．不過，他不喜歡飲水.

我還有1個兒子, 2.5 yrｓold, 故我沒有太多時間用來泵奶.

我覺得呢幾排好似d奶唔夠，呈芝食食下會郁黎郁去，所以好多時我要餵兩邊。但係咁樣又好似無時間上奶，已經努力飲湯水同豆漿，希望快d回復正常。

今日見到Anna，原來佢部電腦壞左，要佢老公上黎代溫書!

多謝各位關心. ryan係醫院還未康復. ryan血小板低所以微絲血管出血. 已經揪了骨髓証實血沒問題, 只是佢d抗體認錯佢d血小板係病菌所以殺死自己d血小板. 而家要等佢d血小板升, 但不知幾時所以有可能用類固醇幫佢. 這個病是不明原因, 以後都好小反發. 我想或者ryan食野唔好, 體質差所以免疫系統弱所以不停生產抗體. 基本上佢好精神只是不能活動過大以免影響出血. 您們gathering我黎唔倒. 下次再出.

Rita, really hope Ryan can get well very soon ahh!! You must be very tired these days... need to take care of Ryan in the hospital and also Siu Yau at home. Take more rest and eat more healthy food!

Joan, thank you for your regards. 峻德 is more willing to 埋身餵 during the weekends b'cos I'm at home all day with him. Hope I can still 埋身餵 on Monday evening after he takes back bottles la!

Hello All,

I am planning to give the solid food to Nic during the coming weekend even though he is not yet 6 months next week. As there will be a four days holiday (I will take a leave on May 3), so I can feed him directly and see how his reaction. A little bit excited and a little bit worry!!
