Yxxx bookshop offer 10% discount for members, sometimes special sale 15% off. They have lots of books, eg MSB chapter books, Ladybird, nearly complete series, but all at original px. Sometimes there are some good softcover books, $2x after discount.

You went to Pg1 too ? 20% off ALL books or only selected books ? Parade of bookshops ?
If you need to wait in YXXX, can also go to Star House Comm Press too.

I stayed at yxcx coz my bee pooped there!!!

I have to wait for the poop ....

He ran and ran at the lobby and suddenly he said 'urgent urgent'...... and wee wee there too!

Not sure about across-the-board dicsount or not. I did not go in. I bought 10 pieces of yummy cut cakes at the bakery just opp. tse. I am now cakeholic!

As learnt from the 1st lesson, I found that phonics is not the tool for "pronounciation" but using for reading (assist the Native Speaker) while IPA do. Besides, some "exceptional" cases for pronounciation claimed in phonics can all be explained by IPA. IPA has a universal rules for pronounication.

For example, we use "a" in front of uniform and "an" before hour. IPA can explain all of these.

From the 1st lesson, I knew that (before, I don't know

) A, E, I, O, U are not vowels but are vowel letters .... etc.

For details, you should learn from Dereck Kwok in lieu la.

As introduced by another bk mom, I went to UNY and bought the 童裝福袋 in this morning. :mrgreen:

Most of the size 110 were sold and I bought 2 packs size 110 and 1 pack 130. All are $399 for each pack with different no. of T-shirt, pants, jacket etc. For both paci of size 110, there are total 7 pcs. each of which original price is $10xx while the size 130 pack is of total 10 pcs. which original price is $14xx. Ic, 記得以前Use of English都有澄清 a e i o u 唔一定要用 'an'，係睇個發音來決定，並非睇個字母咁簡單！ e.g a university 咁。IPA 果然 prof!

I got the 褔袋 (110) la. Frankly,I like the 100 size pack more. But I was advised to buy bigger size instead. How come holman could take 110 and even 130 ga?? 130 will be very big.

I enrolled my bee for a Chinese painting class la. Very interesting trial class today. My bee was taught to draw a sun, the sea and three little 'V' shaped birds today. Very nice!!!
