don't worry about eating congee. My elder son 齊齊 born in Norway, I never give him congee until I come back here when he's 9 months old. He had only been fed with mashed potato ( they only eat potato there, no choice ), it's fine. He didn't like congee either at the begining, when we start mixing it with potato which he liked it since he got used to the potato taste! You can try it again when Jasmine has tried potato. Sometimes, how your boil congee can also affect the texture and babies don't like too running since like water. You can wash the rice first and then put into the fridge for at least an hour b4 boil it. this will make the congee more 綿.
