My job has almost taken my breath away..

BD celebaration at Les Celebrites.

Very good starter buffet, goose liver, ham with sweet melon, lamb steak, .......too many. We (3A +1 bee) sat inside the private room and bee played with the sliding door!

We had a great albeit the busy day.

I got my sick leave cert. this lunch-time but failed to 'redeem' for influx of more and more silly jobs!!!

your Longman 'Newcomer Phonics books+ big cards' have arrived at CW la.

I find that the method of this set is a hybrid of IPA and classic phonics.

They use some characters to teach the vowel sounds:

a --> Nan (a girl), Tab (a tabby cat)
i ---> Tim (a boy)
e--> Bev (a girl)
o---> Bob (a boy with blonde hair)
u---> Gus (a puppy)

And other characters to teach other variations of sounds. They also have DIY books for kid to make a small book using an A4-page.

The whole book contains interesting way of relating some phonics and IPA concepts. I like the big A4 size cards best!! I ask bee to read them one by one. He likes it!

Go and get and pay la. Quote me and you can get the products. I have left the salesman with your name c-nnie and Hmm. OK?

AM, HMM & KL

CW has yet to order the IPA vcd (5 vcds set). Wait la. I even have to provide them with the publisher's info by reading it out from the vcd case-cover.

I think AMom asked CW yesterday but they told her the set was gone or something. Apparently she has to call them tomorrow.

CW called me at 10pm telling me that the 2 sets for AM & HMM have arrived loh. Just 1 day and cw did not relation between AM and the ordered set la.
