Re: Little Einstein, would u pls tell the age range it suits? I've heard this series long time ago but still didn't have chance to take a glance of it. And how good it is?

yes ah, I hv to bring Kv to Whampoa to attend the piano teacher's lesson every Sun.

Both Kv and I practise piano every day gar!

btw, what is shakespear story CD set? $100 for 8 pcs seems good!

not too sure of the contents of Little Einstein since I seldom have the chance to watch with her but the theme song of this show is good. Rachel sang with her classmates all the times when they are in the car at Vancouver.

Buddies,

Can you give your views on the below options re hiring Phil maids? Which one would you prefer?

Option 1: 20-30 yrs, single, not pretty (less chance for problems)
Option 2: 20-30 yrs, married with a small kid(s)
Option 3: Over 30 yrs, married with big kids
Option 4: Over 30 yrs, single, not pretty
Option 5: Over 40 yrs, married with big kids [the kind of my current maid]

The Shakespare set is from HongKong-headline free-newspaper. You cut a coupon and buy the set of 8 CDs (stories in Cantonese; narration done by a HK DJ - Mak Wing Shau) at HK$100. Not bad if you are lazy to read the stories to KV.

GC,

I'm sure Kv is not gifted cos he hasn't got relative gifted syndrome, but he is really energetic and non-stop all the times!

For my maid, she is in category 4, plus she looks like (and seems to be) a tomboy!

Hence I would choose option 4!

RMM,

The piano teacher I recommended is not a full time teacher. He has his own studio to make music for advertisement and performance show. Very versatile and talented musician indeed!! He told me he was the major keyboard player in the musical " 麗花皇宮" years ago .... so cool!!

So his schedule is really vvv tight !!

I would choose 2.

For 1 and 4, they are susceptible to
being snatched by SEAsian BF ==>
pregnancy problems.

On 2nd thoughts,
all options have same problems in the end.
Just try your luck.
But Options 1 - 4 better than 5.

講開請 bun bun, 真係好煩. 本來上星期五去 agent 度揾工人, 但因為 8 號風球, 咁早兩日(星期二)先去, 睇咗兩個幾鐘 file & video

, 揀咗 3 個, 咁即時打電話去第一個度問佢接唔接個 job, 佢話 ok, 我仲同佢講咗幾句, 佢好醒, 喺香港做咗 5 年, 識少少廣東話 (為方便同我媽媽溝通, 本來我老公想請 yan yan), 咁以為 ok 啦, 仲即時簽 contract, 點知噙晚個 agent 打比我, 話菲律賓個邊個 agent 話個 bun bun 有 d 問題, 話佢不停問我屋企幾大, 幾多人, 要做 d 咩, 又問我係唔係 housewife, 又話 agent 費貴, 驗身費貴, 考試費貴, 又唔肯驗身, 總之嫌三嫌四

我估佢因為覺得我好滿意佢, 一定請佢, 所以想我幫佢比 (個 agent 話佢可能有第二個 job, 所以想揀工做)

咁我問個 agent, 佢呢 d 態度如果黎到會點, 個 agent 話如果佢咁醒, 又以為自己 mud 都識, 黎到香港會好難駕馭, 咁我問老公點, 佢話咪請過第二個囉, 又唔係冇, 而且心中有條刺, 費事第二時黎到先頂心頂肺

而家仲等緊第二個 confirm

bunbun 揀工做得滯。
我八年前試過個，
講好工拎行李上我屋企，但未入門口前，
要收舊人工唔肯收新人工 (當時剛剛減人工)
我當然唔肯
佢就即刻落返樓梯。
跟住請左個臨完約走連針都偷。
所以幾做得都係假
我必定唔要bunbun

而我現在個印印，
係隔山買返來
只在agency看過file
佢以前在hk做過但已經返左印尼所以無得見
但turnout到現在仍然ok算係咁
(雖然都會作反但又唔太過份
我米扮隻眼開)

我之前個bun bun 都很衰, 原來只當香港是踏腳石, 滿 1 年話要去canada, 比佢

仲平時常偷野, 放假那日就拿我買比兒子的零食/飲品, 不貴不取, 問佢1 是話比我兒吃了, 1 是話佢有權食bor, 我話這些不是比你食, 你食都是在我家食, 不是取走. 真是大把佢的道理.

仲有, 因佢有1個同我兒甘大的兒子, 我常常不見書同細玩具, 你知兒子的書/玩具是博我不記得. 問佢後, 2天就會話find out, 不問就會不翼而.....
後來我要每本書有no. 似圖書館甘, 先想看就有, 那是真是不見了many board book .

明知都不能問佢, 怕佢對我兒.............. 唉

Kv is found to have 25 & 100 degree of short sight in his left and right eye respectively during recent eye check. Do u think he need spectacles?

And do u believe eye-sight training can reduce or even cure short sight problem as mentioned in below BK thread?

not sure on the age range for Little Einstein, maybe you can get some ideas from the website
