1. Tell the agent that you want to go somewhere (China, Macau, Singapore...) with your maid, but heard that HK Imm Dept checks the valid DH contract + maid's passport, otherwise have problems of re-entry. (Of course it is NOT true, unless your maid's passport / visa really has some problems with it.)
2. Use this date.
3. No draft, sorry. Should be in Indonesian. Better you draft one in Chinese, dictate it to your maid and ask her to write it down in Indonesian. See if other mummies can help you out on this.

(Do you think this should do ?
Then go ahead and find a lawyer to notorize this letter. If the lawyer is in any doubt, he will let you know.)
1. Call up Indo Consulate to make appt. for interview, 1 month before current DH contract expires. (But suggest you call up around mid-Sept and see what they say.)
2. Meanwhile, since you have quite a lot of time still, prepare all necessary documents. It will take some time to get your Indo DH's family in Indo to mail her the required letter, and for your maid to write to her agency in Indo.
3. Yes, it is a requirement for Indo maid to inform Indo agency that contract renewal will NOT be done through agency.
Actually, read through the file and you will know.
I have discussed with my maid. She said if it will also cost a lot of money (lawyer fee and medical check up fee), she prefer to renew the contract thru agency. She told me that the agent fee is cheaper now.Is it right? How much do you think the lawyer fee will be and do you think the consulate will accept whatever have been notarised by the notary public. (What I mean is in case the format is not accepted by the consulate, I will need to go back to the lawyer and it will cost $$$$)
If you don't mind, would you like to share your experience / info (e.g. which lawyer), and e-mail me your info and let me add it to my word.doc file ?
I will pm my e-mail add to you and tks in advance.
