HMM,

HM should recover fine, and at his age, recovery is quicker than, say, for me - young vs old ma.

What was the cause do you know ?
He always rubs his eyes ==> bacteria ?

ic.. so it's just a minor operation. Don't cry la...

Kevin had to do general anaesthetic in circumcision surgery 2 years ago..... I still remember he could run and play around in the Hospital just 30 minutes right after the surgery!!

Yes, he likes to rub his eyes. After inflected, he just blind his eyes instead. My maid asked why he always blind his eyes so serious. He told the maid that the eyes are itchy but mammy didn't allow me to rub the eyes, so he blind his eyes like this wow

HMM,

If he feels itchy in the eyes,
is it because his hair is quite long and usually gets into / near his eyes ?

If so need to trim his hair a bit, shorter ==> won't get into / near eyes.

Try to remove basic cause of itchy eyes.
A lot of dust / pollen near home ? If so need to use filter at home.
And with a kid at home, do get your maid to wipe everything (floor, doors, furniture) with 1:99 bleach at least once a week.

I got one 眼疮on my right eyes too. It appear suddenly one day 3 months ago while I felt itchy and tired. It become so big in 2 days, it become smaller after 1 week but never disappear. The doctor said I can do a surgery is I want. It's not painful at all but there's a little ball on my eye-lid, so I will jest wait and see. 　I like to rub eyes a lot since I was a kid, that's why I always got 眼疮 and 眼挑针.

Not pain but a bit itchy. It's very obvious to know ga wow

(red and can easily be seen on his eye). He's very minor before several times ga la. This time is much serious lor :-( :-(

that's exactly for hm's case. the doc. said it won't be totally recovered in this case unless you take out the "origin" of the inflection. It will keep big and small, big and small and never disappear by itself.

We do ask the maid to clean the floor (almost everyday) with Chicco's steriliser (claimed can be used in baby's eating tools). I dare not to use 1:99 (I'm afraid that hm will put his fingers inside his mouth / rub his eyes). This is indeed a bad habit for him to rub his eyes

我见它现在不疼就不想搞它。I've done 1surgery on this already when I was young。最厉害果次泪腺发炎and there were 3 眼疮around the infected area, really so painful and my half face swelled （not only the eyes area), after this I always remind myself, no more rubbing eyes

in fact, the parents of hm's classmates (qq club) taught us that use the hot towel to put at the inflected area and it worked for their kids. but it's only a bit work to hm. the eye "倉" burst twice but the wound "recovered" on the next day and began to grow up again. the doc. said hm will have many wounds then and hence i decided to let him to have the ot lor~

I got one big and some small 眼疮on my eyes three weeks ago. The doc said that it was called “皮脂炎” and it was due to dryness of the eyes. He gave me one antibiotics tablet and two antibiotics eye drops. The small one has gone and the big one has shrunk to a smaller size. I had the follow up 2 days ago and he prescribed another antibiotics to me.
Audrey has used to blink her eyes and rub the eyes quite often; the doc said that it was due to allergy. Some of the eye drops can help to alleviate the situation. Some of the children rub their eyes as they do not see things clearly (have eyesight problems).

Hope all of us will recover soon!

I went to 2 doctors for the眼疮, both of them told me not to use hot water to steam the infected area. In return, we should use icy one as the hot one can turn make the 疮become mature and burst and recover. The cold one will minimize it, so I think it all depends on the size of the 疮

re : Filipino maid contract renewal

Fill in the DH contract (4 copies), ask her to check with her "sisters" what they have to bring along to Philippines Consulate (eg your HKID copy ? your tax bill ? proof of address). Tell her to pay for all costs 1st, you pay her back the admin fees paid to Philippines Consulate. (Can be done on Sundays, Ph Con also opens on Sundays.)

After Ph Con has endorsed your "new" contract, either you go or she goes to Imm Dept, another set of forms to fill in - for DH employment, and DH visa extension. Maid can go alone to Imm Dept and wait for min 1hr45min max half a day to get DH visa for new contract.

If you trust her with your photocopies, you can ask your maid to do everything. Some ppl put all the photocopies in sealed envelopes, mark confidential, to be opened by Imm Dept and Imm Dept will seal whatever should be returned to you. You need to pay visa fees ($1xx) and the DH tax ($2400 for 1st half-year if you want to pay by instalment).

Can get a set of forms for you and let you have it next Monday when we exchange goods, if you want.
