is she pretty? u guys are with the same doc?
She is average, but without makeup she is better than some celebrities. No we are not with the same doc, but in the same building. I went to see my doc for my hand.
I was saying my hands aren't at my worst. Only right hand is playing up. Wearing wrist guard now. The best way to remind everyone, including myself, I can't lift Heavy stuff.
Right before we did our first trimester screening (for Downs and Tris18), we met with a geneticist as part of the appointment so she could tell us more about what the Downs/Tris18 screen means, and what our options are once we get the results.
At that meeting she also asked for both of our family medical history to see what potential hereditary diseases would be higher risks for us based on family medical history (e.g. breast cancer, downs, etc).
She also said that because we are a bi-racial couple, we also lower some risks for each other. E.g. if caucasian are higher risk for 地貧, then you need to be both caucasian for the kid to have a high chance of 地貧. There are other diseases that are higher risks for Chinese, but would only affect the kid if both of our kids of Chinese etc.
So I don't think being a bi-racial couple increases any risk when it comes to race-related risks, but more importantly think about other family medical history common across all races.
I hope it makes sense?
We didn't do any pre-wedding check... good luck :)
