Before piglet can be convinced to learn the Times Tables (again, actually he memorized it last yr for maths of beads but apparently totally forgotten already), pls answer his question, in detail :

Why should I learn the Times Table ?

I told him that even a 3y-old (bee) was proactively asking to learn times 2. Told you this is a vvv lazy pig.

And tonight is not a good night for piglet. He has some allergy, affecting body trunk. V itchy, ?-( ?-( . Initially I thought it was his clothes, changed them, but still continued to scratch. So I put on some Oronine (ngo loh naap ying ointment), still itchy. Ngoh Shut Oil (Indo moth oil), still itchy. Then woke up, and I gave him a shower with water only, then changed his clothes again, still itchy. Body trunk all red, swollen in some places, small chicken-pox like in some places. But definitely NOT chicken-pox because he had it (twice) already. I suspect it was something he ate, the only new unfamiliar item was Mrs Fields Cookies, double chewy chocolate flavour. See what happens tomorrow morning. Hope it will pass by that time. I think it is some sort of "fung naan" which was casued by some allergy gwa. Will need to find out specifcially what. Potentially dangerous.

The show is good for all age gar!!

This is the second time I bring my son to watch the show produced by Theater Esemble la. My son laughed and laughed and had so much fun.

He has also joined their drama course (PIP) since Sep last year. VV good too!

btw, what is the brand name of clothes in lucky bag?

the brandname is some kind Japanese one starting with 'V'. Not big name but good in quality. Similar to the ORCHESTRA style. Quite sportive!

Will try the PIP in future when my bee grows older.

How's your piglet now?

My son has similar experiences 2 months ago when my maid was on holiday home. He had very worse hypersensitive response. Initially, we thought that was the result of some food allergy. However, the rashes were spread all over his body including his face. We took him to the doctor and he need to inject with "anti-histamine" (a kind of the anti-allergic medicine.) to inhibit the effect. Once the allergic response sets off, it will not stop if you cannot figure out the source of the allergen (it's a kind of the positive feedback response).

Lastly, we found out that the most possible source of the allergen. By the time when my maid in holiday, we took all our clothes to the laundry shop for cleaning. We suspected that the allergen was the cleaning powder / softener!!! From that day on, we need to wash our clothes everyday by ourselves.

So far, I didn't find any mainland China version of Magic School Bus DVDs. I heard that Innoform will ask for the license of MSB to release the HK version. (If you can wait, probably, they will release the HK version of MSB later this year or next.)

BTW, the difference between D5 and D9 are the method of copying onto the Disc. (It's not related to the regional code.) D5 - holds ~4.7GB capacity information, while D9 (double layered) holds ~9GB information on a single disc.

D5 ，DVD-5 的简写，即单面单层(SS-SL或Single Side Single Layer)，最大4.7G，一面数据，另一面一般印刷了文字或图案。

The region code of MSB DVDs which I bought from moviemars is 1/2. Usually the region code for asia area is 3. However, all the "cheap cheap" China Brand DVD players are all code players. Only if your DVD player is the "famous brand", e.g. SONY, Philips, ..., then there will be a problem in retrieving DVDs from other area code.

Piglet's body trunk was still red and vvv itchy at 4am, so I gave him 1 teasp of Ibuprofen (similar to paracetamol). Then after ?-( for a little while longer he was exhausted and went to sleep. And at 6:30 am when I checked again everything was back to normal. So kicked him up and sent him off to school by 7:20 am.

I suspect it was the cookies because that was the only unfamiliar item he ate / contacted (at around 7:30pm). Itch and fung laan appeared around 9pm.
Since I already gave him a shower with plain water, and then put ointment / oil on, and changed his clothes, should have lessened the redness if it were a skin allergy. We have been using the same washing powder / softener for several yrs, so that's out.
So I suspected it was a food allergy, and gave him the Ibuprofen.

Need to take him to vet for thorough check / test of what's behind all the rash, but vet will resume work only next Mon. Can wait.

And piglet wanted sooooo much to go to hospital last night, to see a doc. And wanted NOT to go to school today. (1st day of school after hols, and Chin dictation today.)

Tks for concern. Will keep him off misc nuts.

I have enrolled bee in a gymnastic class in YMT yxcx la. DOn't know why they are not full at all. Class starts on 7 May. Even cheaper than TST yxcx. $20 for membership!!

Next time, you may give him the "

olaramine" which is a kind of anti-sensitive. (Usually the doctor will give this medine when you've runny nose.)
Does piglet have G6DP deficiency? These kids show allergic response to components in nuts and many other chemicals.

No, piglet does not have G6PD deficiency. Which makes it even more mysterious.
Also, piglet eats a lot (!!!) of different things, and hasn't shown allergic reaction to any of them. Also had peanuts and cashews before.

I only had Ibuprofen at home, which is similar to paracetamol.
Would have given him Piriton but didn't have any at home.
And I didn't want to go to StTHosp at such hours again.
