Did you subscribe the story box / adventure box, my son's school gave us some samples to have a look and my son likes it as it has some comic. 10 issues worth $455.00 no discount, it seems quite expensive. Any cheaper sources.

Cite Bookshop is located at 香港灣仔軒尼詩道235 號, opposite to 夏巴油站.

Regarding Story Box and Adventure Box, of course the cheaper source is from ME la.

I've got around 30 issues of Story box and 10 issue of Adventure Box. Wanna take them?

Sometimes you find a few in TRUs stores, either ask the Customer Service desk or look around the Lego display shelves, and you can just take them for free.

Otherwise you need to wait till there is some Lego promo function and see if they have some spare copies for the public.

I found a poster in Whampoa promoting a Lego promo function in one of its malls (not sure which one), period is from 16 to 21 Oct. Some area for kids to play, and I think some stalls selling Lego sets. May be becos there will be a TRUs shop in Whampoa (near Popular Bkshop). Try and find out about this one. This should be the most likely place to get a copy in the near future.

Or if you cannot go there, try and look around the smaller Lego shops in In's Point (YMT mall Waterloo Rd / Nathan Rd), ask the shopkeepers whether they have one for sale.

i remember the Lego warehouse sales was around Nov last year. Any news for this year?

For Whampoa, yes, Lego organised several times at Whampo for the similar sales, Mostly likely at the basement where MAXIM restaurant located. If it is organised by Lego itself, then the price will good bor. If it is organised by Toy'us, then may be only 10-20% off.

Lego HK does not neccessarily sell Lego cheaper ga !

Last time there was a set of Lego bricks only, 50th anniversary box, 700 bricks incl one golden colour 2x4 brick, $399.
But recently the same thing is selling at $299 in Jusco.
I just got 1 last Sat.

Sometimes Jusco Lego is cheaper, cos the buyer buy in bulk elsewhere, not from Lego HK.

Kittylock,

Piglet likes the Lego Agent series cos there are guns and some special weapons, but I don't like the colour in general, and the $$$$ is set to be more expensive, just compare the big container set with the similar thing in City Police series.
In fact, Piglet likes ALL series in general, and would like to buy everything, preferable more than 1 set of each !!!!

I can't be that mean, Jun still not be able to achieve the target just for 1 day!
I won't buy Crystal Skull set, Jun is too young for that. I took him to the shop several times to "enjoy" until he become tired of it!

Toyrus has a discount offer on Lego bricks in Whampoa Garden btw Oct 16 to 21 from 12 noon to 9pm. TRU claims prices may be discounted as much as 50%. Details available on TRU website.
