OH NO, DD change the delivery method and the delivery cost is 30% -70% of the book cost. very very expensive.

They cancel the courier services. Only can choose air mail or EMS by post office.

i choose something around Aug/Sept, but forgot to place order and now.............. can't order at such term.

my son MUST complaint me la. He chase/push me to place order and now.....................

I booked the exam rm for 2 x 30min sessions, 1st session was last Sat, to familiarize piglet with the piano.
It was a Seiler (?) grand, in an acoustics rm. (exam venue is Whampoa Parsons).
But the sound of the piano was vvvv muffled, not clear at all, and piglet complained that he couldn't hear what he was playing ==> he relied on listening a lot, ==> not sure whether he played the right notes / wrong notes.

And of course still a lot of mistakes, both in the pieces, and scales.

No eye see !

2nd session in that room is this Sat, hope he will do better. Only slight improvement in scales, and for the pieces, some places where he always got it wrong ==> became a habit and difficult to rectify.
Some places he simply skipped 4 bars (cos the bars in front were the same) ==> then went round and round and can never come to the end of the song !
Bad bad bad.

But already improved in some places cos I

him.

I plan to take leave next Tues pm and Wed, cos his test finishes at 11am Tues, and I will make him practise repeatedly at home Tues pm and Wed before piano exam.
Piglet will take school leave on Wed.

piglet takes G5 exam this time?

Kv will also take G2 violin exam 3 weeks later.

Kv has also finished the 1st assessment of 1st term 2 days ago la.

Results:
Math - 99
Chin - 95
Eng - 98

I went to Whampoa to buy Lego this evening. Based on what I recall,

Airport 7894 is $599 vs. list price of $899
Fire truck 7239 is $149 vs. list price of $199
Castle 7094 $6xx vs. list price of $8xx?
Train with rails 7897 is $669 vs. list price of $899
Train station 7997 is $369 vs. list price of $xxx
Ferries wheel $549 vs. list price of $699?
Building crane $429 vs. list price of $699?

Sorry I only looked at those I have not bought before & was interested in buying. The list price is according to display on site & Toysrus people (assuming they didn't raise the price). I think it's a good bargain cos quite a few people bought several boxes of the same model!!!!

One more thing. Buy 9 boxes get 1 free! If u intend to buy so many (e.g. as christmas presents), remember to bring a trolley! I took a taxi back home & it costed me $$$!

Well, if you don't mind the condition of the box itself (box a bit worn out) then I think there are still some Airport sets, and I'll gladly go there tonight and buy them for you.
