fyi, I sent an email to ask for the difference, and this is the reply:

The major difference between the Oxford Reading Tree (ORT) and the
Oxford Story Tree (OST) is the language presentation. The ORT is designed
for use by native English speaking students therefore the language is
introduced naturally, with no assumptions about the students language
ability. While the OST presents the language according to a grammar and
vocabulary syllabus for an EFL learner.

Although the OST is not as extensive as the ORT, the story backdrops
and characters remain the same in both series.

wor.... 200+, you must be very full la......my mum got me some books (I don't know how to count them yet

)..... I only took those about Thomas and gave the others back to mammy la.... mammy said she made a lot of effort to bring them home and asked me to read them wor..... I promise mammy I'll consider .........

Mammy said no other b-day party this year because she's lazy .... but she booked the hotel room at Gold Coast and I'm going to have my first beach trip.... yeah.......

kam ma,

no misc. fee wor.... only for school bag/school uniform..... about $6xx for one full set (including school bag, party bag, normal and sports uniform and a jacket) and I paid $8xx for two sets of each of normal/sports uniform....

some more info I got from another BK mom on ORT & OST:

The major diff is the tense used, and some of the name of the character changed e.g. Wilma vs Wendy; Wilf vs William. The illustration are diff too. Besides the afore-mentioned, they are basically the same.

Thanks, I'll take JunJun to celebrate his birthday on Friday, hope the weather will be fine. Swindon has offered a 20% off on RaH around 3 months ago but I didn't buy it ,so I bought it at the book fair with with 15% only
