I went to Longman book sale held at Sogo 21/F.

Bought a lot Penguin Readers ($100/10 books) and a Chinese Dictionary. I also brought an old dictionary to redeem a new Eng-Chin dictionary at $50 (org $300).

Tomorrow is the last day la.

I went to CP yesterday and bought also the newly released 2 issues of 喜羊羊, Step into reading chapter books on Oliver Twist, Phatom of the Opera, some $100 for 4 chaper books on Cam Jamsen, Horrible Harry, etc and 2 sets of 格林童話 and 安徒生童話

Penguin readers also got the titles of Oliver Twist, Phantom, Sherlock Holmes, Matilda, Pride & Prejudice, round the world in 80 days and other classic titles

I also bought some movie stories, ghosts stories and detective stories..... just $100 for10, avg $10 per book.

I saw it many years ago selling at the Book Fair for $70....but you know the kids, lost their interests very soon and thus I'm hesitate to buy. It's a interesting toys and you need to be patience, concentrate and use your mind to arrange the beads so as to fit the case. Because of ah So, it's popular now and became more cheaper and easily to source. Yes, it is the cheapest as I know (for this version).

I will bring Kv to Disneyland this Wed which is a school holiday (Dr Sun Yat Sen's BD).

We can have free admission cos one of my relatives works there.

However, we have to come back home earlier on Wed cos the next day is the commencement of 2nd assessment of school.

My girl will have school holiday this Friday (Staff Development Day) but need to do the revision for next week's tests. Otherwise, it's a good suggestion to go to Disneyland.

Thanks for inf. of the Sogo sales. So early for the sales again. The lego seems very interesting. Let's ask my honey whether it is good or not. I saw the remot control dinorsaur once at Sogo selling with the same original price.

For the Science workshop is quite good bor. Let me compare with the YMCA day camp. i am consider to enrol my son to the day camp of YMCA. instead i can enrol this one as well.

Lego #7744 Police Headquarters, US$89.99, i.e. ~HK$774 (incl sales tax) before postage.

HK$788 = ~less 21%, quite acceptable px in HK unless sp px somewhere.

What about px on Brick Link ? Any idea ?
(I plan to buy some items from Brick Link shops, but need to reg Paypal first.)

Tks for info re Sogo Lego, but no la, cos
1. Really so much stock on hand, and
2. Saving bullets for Star Wars Lego and new 2009 release sets hehe.
And I don't have Sogo card anyway as you know, but I'm sure you'll help.

And we don't have holiday on Dr. SYS's Day either.
But I remembered that I had this holiday when I was in Pr and Sr School.
I think schools now count total no. of school days / holidays per school yr, so its either this day or that day as holiday, eg day after Sports Day.
