Hubby is contacting some headhunters to look out for job opportunities in HK for him. All his and my families are in HK, that’s why he is very keen to go back.

I think B Ching was more cute when she was a baby. As she grows older, she looks more like my hubby, that’s why she is less pretty now………

The presentation went quite well, I was quite pleased.

But the dinner dragged on for very long, didn’t get home until way past 11pm on Thurs. :cry: :cry: Typical European dinner, I think the amount of wine each person drank on average was 1 bottle!

I also wanted to take advantage of the NHS system, but my GP surgery is really very bad and I didn’t have any confidence in them at all.

So after the first visit, we decided to go private. Only later that I found out that you can actually choose to go to a hospital that is outside your council area. I didn’t regret my choice as I think it is important for me to have confidence with the system for my first pregnancy when I don’t have any family around. But GBP3000 is really too expensive since it is just for the extras of having a single private midwife to follow through and 1 night stay in the private ward. The hospital is actually a public hospital.

Zenia,
I am also sort of working within the academic circle, but my subject is economic and my company is an independent research house, so have commercial clients – bankers, central bankers etc.
My hubby and I are also on work permit, but my case is very complicated lah…….will tell you next time when we meet…….:mrgreen:
We also don’t really like London, especially the weather and the high tax.

Also, we don’t have family in London, so that’s probably why we don’t like it here.

Hello各位媽咪

幾日冇見,因為......bb係9月14號出左世喇^_^
等我講下果日既過程啦:
0400 肚痛痛醒左,但係果陣我唔肯定係陣痛定係個肚唔舒服
0500 開始5-10mins痛一次,每次維持1min以上,所以我去
執好埋個走佬袋
0600 去左兩次大解
0830 夾硬食左碗麥皮
0900 諗住沖涼,入到廁所見紅,所以即刻好快咁洗頭沖涼
0950 用TENS machine,去醫院
1015 到醫院,入左檢查房,姑娘量血壓同體溫 (但係仲未有助
產士幫我檢查)
1035 穿水
1045 助產士入黎檢查,原來已經開足10度,佢諗住推我入產
房,但係佢話如果下一次contraction就要開始push,點
知真係趕唔切入產房,所以要係檢查房生

1105 bb出世,女仔,重2.92kg

我第二日已經出左院,不過bb暫時比較扭計同食全人奶,所以我咁遲先通知大家,真係唔好意思

我一有時間就會上黎,遲d再傾~*

thank you very much for your concern, Trevor is ok now. that afternoon, i was sleeping with Irene, Trevor was playing computer on his own. suddenly, he woke me up, he show me his face, i didn't know what happen.he told me he played with the iron first, but didn't admitt he play with the socket as well.after i asked him many questions , finally, he admitted he switch on the socket and played with the iron. it hurt him, he ran to the toliet to look at the mirror,see what happened. rud the wound, break the "bubble", still feel hurt, then wake me up. he didn't cry at all, i put on some ointment which my dad bought me from china.he seems fine, so i didn't take him to see a GP.or hospital. also, from the moment he get hurt till he told me, it takes minutes already, as well as i already put some ointment on him, so i didn't take him to see a GP. thinking back, i am quiet surpirse that i didn't think of GP or hospital at the moment i know Trevor get hurt. at that moment, i feel very painful(my heart), the pain drive me crazy~i didn't hug him or say anything nice to comfort him, i just

him for being naughty.

him a lot. i am not a good mother, as i was too lazy(sleeping) and

him even when he get hurt.
tonight, my 99 celebrating mid-attum with all her family.~her sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren etc........she cooked crabs and bought roast duck, Trevor wants to eat crabs very much, he feels really upset that we didn't allow him to eat crabs :-( :-( :-(
