是呀, 有些家長都話剛剛有個5A生所以學校注重多左academic...

Once jumped to Secondary school, it is quite difficult to pick up as all classes are taught in English.
The 校風 is good. This year, they have around 15 students need to repeat From 1 whereas only few students reported form 1 last year. This is because they want to higher the acadamic student after having the 5A students.

For me, I found that the students are very純品. If you are not looking for band 1 頭 school, this is quite a good choice.

By the way, over 80% of the students can go to secondary school. The remaining are those with excellent performance or very poor performance.

TKO街坊, 工人打黎話d奶粉食晒, 成日sorry左就好似冇野, d日本奶粉而家成日要等, 29/7先有, 仲可能delay. 上個月又係咁. 以為好易有得買???? 激c我啦! 而家食緊屋企果兩盒旅行裝. 睇怕又要借奶粉.....善長仁翁....幫幫忙. 不過, 我唔會即刻羅出黎, 等工人知道奶粉難搵, 次次都最後先講

我會叫阿姐姐每逢星期一寫下屋企有什麼東西沒有, 跟住我放工會再double check多一次.. so far 都ok... 當然是第一個姐姐先做到, 第二個是做唔到....

差不多啦, 一星期尾話我知要買d咩野. but我叫佢奶粉係剩最後2cans要出聲. 佢都ok既....希望有改進.

Actually my boy can read most of his english book since last summer ( around 70-80% accuracy ). We didn't have any special training to him just same as you read books with him every day and he spends at least 1 hrs per day to read by himself. He loves ABC very much, he is interested in everything which do with ABC. I can say his reading and comperhension is very good but poor in oral. Will do more practise with him from now on....I never thought of writing wor... On the other hand I will spend time with him on Chinese too, (he doesn't like it as much as english) would like to keep his interest on it...

My problem is Zachary will not read the book by himself. He will grasp the books and ask me to read with him.

How you train your son to read the book or he do so automatically?

Actually, Helia reads books herself. (Recently, she likes drawing rather than reading.) Reading: We have no training. I suggest you to start from very very simple english story book. Oxford Reading Tree and Magic Box are good. But, we have no time to library. After building up the interest in reading, you may let him read at higher level, step by step and the process is slow. And, you may try various theme of books. We have some books that Helia never touch. She doesn't like the topic. I wasted a lot of money.

I hope Zelia will like them.

Hi all, I went to the book fair last night. There wasn't as many people as I expected, so quite a comfortable visit.

In general, I found that most of the books are around 20% off. You will need to look around for bargains.

At the children's section, I found a stand for English children's book at 50% off. I bought a lot from there because for the same book, it was only offering 20% off at another booth, plus it had Little Einsteins (the Disney cartoon) which Sexy is really into at the moment. There is also one Chinese book stand at books at $10 each. You will need to dig around, but I found a few on crafts and drawing (which Sexy is alo really into now) and writing exercises.

I also found some really good and cheap English novels for myself.

Wah, your boy is very smart! Sexy would read books but like May's Zachary, he always ask me to read to him instead of reading it himself. When he reads himself, I think he is just looking at the pictures rather than the words.

Like Helia, he is more into drawing and craft at the moment. He is forever wanting to cut things and paste this, or fold this etc.
