I think we are the same kind of people. Once I have started to fall for something I would try to get as many related items as possible.

I have started to collect things related to twilight saga too.

I have got the movie companions for twilight and new moon and I asked my brother to buy twilight items for me from the US. The story is much hotter over there and more items available.

For the DVDs, when I bought the HMV one I thought it was the only version. After getting the copy one from Shanghai, I realized that there were more than one version and I would like to collect all. What were the deleted scenes in the UK version you've got? I suspect the one I've got from Shanghai should be either UK or US version as those were most popular ones I think. I would like to buy the other one as well if possible.

BTW would the movie itself different in different countries? I found the two I've got shared same content, only the deleted scenes were different. But, worth to get more DVDs just for the different deleted scenes.

What I also want to get now is the twilight sound track. Haven't got time to check from HMV as yet. Would Edward's piano solo on the sound track? I like that one very much. I may also ask my brother to get the new moon sound track for me from US. I think it is cheaper over there.

Though I am Team Edward I find it natural for people to like Jacob. Different people have different tastes.

However, I do not like either Rob or Taylor in real life. I like Rob when he is Edward. He is no one to me out of the twilight world.

I ordered those soundtrack CDs, movie companion books and blue ray disk of twilight directly from Amazon UK online. (I've compared the differences between amazon UK and amazon US. Finally, I figured out that the shipping charge for CD/DVD from UK is comparatively less expensive than US.) Even, after calculating the shipping cost they are still cheaper than those available in HK.

If you can ask your brother to order directly from US amazon (meet the minimum order amount) within USA, it's free of shipping charge.

I love the Twilight soundtrack much.

Thanks for the details. I think may be I would ask my brother to get the soundtracks for me from US as those should be cheaper over there.

The DVD I got from Shanghai did not include those many details so I think it was not a UK version. I would try to order one from Amazon UK. As I did not have the DVDs with me in office I would take them back tomorrow and list out the deleted scenes for comparisons.

I think I would not buy the movie version new moon because Jacob was the main one with Edward and Bella behind on the cover. However, I think I would get movie version twilight with Edward and Bella on the cover.

I am also planning to get some side items like bagchains/necklaces... really am crazy ~

Yes you just remind me that I've a copy of Twilight with the movie cover (pocket size) too!!! (I bought it from book exhibition during summer which is less than$40.) It's now 20% off ($76 original) in commerical press if you've the HSBC card.

By the way, for the Twilight DVD, there is a 3-disc special deluxe version which is available in USA (exclusive available in Target.com before). I think that version will include all the extra features as in UK one. Since if you just buy 1 item from UK then the shipping cost + basic shipping charge will be very high. Whereas you may try to search on internet to find if you can figure out the source of 3-disc Twi DVD from USA to minimize the shipping.

Yes the shipping charge would be high. Thanks for reminding me. I think I will try to locate the 3 disc version. May be my brother could help on this point. He has some crazy friends around too. Crazy ones may know where to get good things. Ha ha!

Just glanced through the new moon movie companion. The pictures were great. Need some time to read all the details, though.

I am still struggling to buy the director's notebook or not. Those in Popular are all packed and no way to take a look at the contents. Is there good things inside?

My husband got me the Blue-ray special edition box set from amazon US. It comes with the movie, movie soundtrack, a watch and a bracelet. I gave the watch and the bracelet to my 7-year-old daughter.

I'm not sure whether all the extra features are the same in both US and UK version.

But you may check with the link here which I bought online from UK amazon.

Interview with the Director (Chris Weitz) for New Moon Movie

With New Moon ready to rise in theaters Nov. 20, director Chris Weitz wants it known: He is going to try to make you cry.

"We've tried our best to deliver on the romantic scenes in the film, and I would like to be able to produce more tears than any movie before, if possible," Weitz told PEOPLE at the Hollywood Film Festival's Hollywood Awards Monday of capturing moments in the Twilight saga's love triangle. "If we could only weigh them with some kind of cubic tear measure!"

Weitz, who took over the directing reigns from Catherine Hardwicke, admits delivering the passion, thrills and heartache in the hotly anticipated sequel wasn't easily done.

"I've handled it very badly, because I'm extremely envious of Rob [Pattinson] and Taylor [Lautner]," he said laughing. "What I've realized is that they have a very tough job – not just playing the characters that they play, but living lives that are now very much under scrutiny all the time."

He adds, the intense level of attention – including speculation about cast members' love lives – was challenging for everyone. "To be honest, even making the movie is under a tremendous amount of scrutiny now, so that when the cast went back to Vancouver there were cameras everywhere," he said. "Everyone knows where every set is going to be. It goes with the Internet and all the information is out there all the time, and whenever one of them is spotted it's immediately Twittered."

The director said he had to resort to some extreme measures to avoid the prying eyes of paparazzi and fans while on location. "I can remember trying to barricade some windows by turning tables over so that they couldn't look in at a cast dinner that they we were having," he admitted.

Nevetheless, Weitz thinks the New Moon stars are gracefully dealing with the attention. "I think that they handle it very well really. They're smart kids – I can say that because I'm 40 – and they've got good heads on their shoulders. So they'll be all right."

As for himself? "The moment this film is out I go away because no one really knows what I look like," he said. "At least that's my plan!"

Compared the features of the blue ray 2 disc from Amazon UK and Target and the 3 disc special version from Target, found they were somewhat the same (the deleted/extended scenes might be different but couldn't tell). Yes Amazon UK is much cheaper but I really am not interested in other items at the moment. May be I would check other sellers in US for a cheaper price. 29.99 is quite expensive lor... Hmmm it includes Edward's piano solo bor... so... I would still go ahead to get one from Target if I cannot get a cheaper one lor.

Wondering do HMV sell blue ray version. Found different pricing twilight dvds on their web but no details, so no way to know what version those were. Think I would need to go take a look. If price is similar then I might go to HMV to get one lor.

Finished reading new moon movie companion. The photos inside were great.
