Our sons went to OM today. Justin said Kevin raised a nick name for him - "Koo Gui Kei" because of we shared the same last name. Did Kevin say anything about the program? I saw some answer sheets with ticks on them but couldn't tell anything more! But Justin said it was fun! BTW, the boy sitting next to Kevin (also studying at SPCC), is my ex-colleague's son. I ran into her today. She said she had to quit her job because of too much pressure at school!

Your company is so great. Charlotte & I are both sick. She was 104C last night. Still has fever tonight. Probably infected by me. My building is on renovation & it's so noisy I can't rest nor help Justin revise for exam! My goodness!

JSM,

Dunno Justin and Kv are both in the same class. So Justin met Kv yesterday.

I didn't ask him much about the OM worhshop cos I came back home at around 10pm last night.... too much work to do!!

He only told me that he met 3 classmates in the workshop. btw, Kv also got a nick name "歌王" --> this name is self-explanatory!

I had a glance of the worksheet but got no idea of what they were too!

Is your ex-colleague's son called Ma MH?

For myself, I find the pressure from school is manageable .... may be I have low expectation....

Charlotte's body temp was 104C? It's high fever! What did the doctor say? Has the fever gone yet? Wish Charlotte and you get well soon!

Yes, the noise from renovation is really annoying! I also find it's difficult to concentrate in such a noisy environment.

Hope Charlotte and you recover soon ! We're just back from watching the movie 荒失失奇兵. We have almost finished revising Chinese, should be able to finish it today. We are going to watch the HKPO waltzes tonight. Will leave English and Maths tomorrow.

I don't know the boy's name but his dad is Ma x x! Today I chatted with another mum. Her son is also studying at Kevin's school. I didn't know so many kids from your school are taking this course. She also didn't have much idea of what's being taught inside. But I looked at yesterday & today's worksheets. Well, not hard at all, just introduced a way to work out the maths instead of adding them up right away. My son told me 1.5hrs spent on teaching, 1.5hrs games. I know they played Rush Hour & Sudoku and my son said he won all the games! I asked the teacher & she did say my son learned very well through games - my goodness - but he is studying at a traditional school!

Waltz? Is it the dance? I also just finished revising Chin. Haven't started other subjects as it was so damn noisy! I am worried that Justin won't do well in exam given the renovation won't complete until next summer at least! Charlotte got better today finally. She has lost her last bit of baby fat!

I wanna join the one held on Sat but it's full already. They called me yesterday that they will arrange additional class on Sun afternoon ... still thinking to go ahead or not!!

Kv said Justin is one of the smartest students in the OM class.

Dear All Buddies,

Got home last night in time for dinner.
Couldn't log in till now cos of BK "upgrading" - again ! This should be called "downgrading" in fact cos it always proves to be worse than before !

I've got everything home incl all the Lego things. Will take everything back to the office first, 1 or 2 items at a time. Will let you know once I've taken everything back and calc the $$$. The GST refund is not too much but at least some help !

I didn't go to the casino side of Genting at all, followed piglet around. He wanted to have a go at the rally (kart + racer helmut stuff) but the height requirement was 153 cm so couldn't, very disappointed about that. Otherwise Genting OK except for the crowds (it was Christmas Eve) and everywhere dirtier than Sing (cos it was Malaysia and their tolerance level + that of locals was worse than Sing). But food OK - the wonton noodle in Malaysia (we went to a small food stall in Johore), actually BBQ-cha siu + dry noodle (lo-meen) + a small bowl of soup with 4 tiny pieces of wonton (why don't they call that item BBQ-pork lo meen instead ??) was vvvvvvvvv yummy ! The noodles was vvv good - very "song". And px I think is v cheap.

Findings in Malaysia and Sing :
1. Went to Popular - Sing to look out for books (hehe). Found that despite having the same name, the textbooks for "My Pals are Here" HK version and Sing version are vvv different, so can't buy for use as school textbook. My Pals also has Maths books ! and a Grammar Book ! Not expensive. Piglet hit book nail and went through a My Pals Gen. Studies book on Sing History / WW2, appeared interesting.

2. Found that there were "Horrible Science" magazines, published once every 2 weeks, Sing$5.95@ without discount, available from Popular. Wonder if they are available in HK.

Anyway, I have 2 extra copies, so if anybody's interested, pls put your hands up.

After reading the "Horrible Science" magazine Bk 6, piglet was interested enough to read through 3 Horrible Science / Horrible Geography Handbooks which I bought from Sing Popular. Quite a good sign !

3. One of my Sing cousins was using a mobile phone, shaped exactly like a toy car, but actually a mobile phone with camera. He bought it in Taiwan but it was made in China ! Intend to look for it in HK and buy one for piglet. Very cute. If I find my photo of the phone I will see if I can post here.

4. My flight home was on a Sing Airline plane, one of the smaller planes, but was definitely NOT full. Is the economy really as bad as that ???!!!
I managed to get all my luggage on board w/o having to pay for overwieght !
I had 1 big carton of Lego + some BBQ-beef, 15 kg.
Then 1 suitcase with some clothes and 10 packs of Yakult (apple, and low fat/low sugar types) and the rest of BBQ beef and pork, plus 4 jars of Kaya and 5 jars of Harrods marmalade, = 34 kg.
Then 1 cabin trolley bag with clothes = 8 kg.
Another cabin trolley bag with books = 10 kg.
Haha, the Sing counter staff (a Chin lady) just got everything through w/o a word !
And piglet and I both took backpacks.
Haha !!

4. Bought 2 items from Gap shop there for piglet, 1 was a fleece pullover with hood, Sing $59 at orig px cos new item.
Another was a long sleeve polo shirt, $39 at 50% discount ! (cos buy 3 items then 50% discount and I bought 2 more T-shirts original px at $29@ as gifts but of course I claimed GST on everything haha !)
So next time anybody goes to Sing, should check the Gap shops there. If 30% or 50% off, then really worth it ga la !

Stayed at home today, enjoying myself !

Jun was so eager on the bike, so we got it for him an hour after our conversation. The Taiwan one. Your recommendation is good, just that the price is 3x the existing one. Do let me know when you really want to sell yours, if $ good, we may want to change ours or get a spare. Ours really occupied space

I will be in Kln Tong/Kln City almost every sat morning, will it be a good time for me to collect somewhere near your home, so that you don't need to bring mine to the office?

I stayed at home too except dinner nearby, still enjoying the holiday, will be back to work next monday.

In that case, I had better leave yours at home.
Then can ask yanyan to pass to you in KLLC on Sat morning, or in front of PnS.

Problem now is, I don't remember exactly what you have. Is it 1 box of windows and doors, 1 box of wheels and 1 box of City Advant Calendar ?
Did you order 1 box of 50th Anniversary bricks set (~S$39.9) ? <== not sure about this one.
And brick separator(s) ?
I'm not sure cos the excel file is in my office, will have access tomorrow when I go back and have a look and sort out my stuff / my desk.

Settle $$ later. I need to calc with my excel table tomorrow cos of the Forex and GST.
Would you like to collect this Sat (tomorrow) ? or next Sat ? And around what time ?
