I feed my baby with pure formula. She can eat 6oz per meal and 5-6 meals per day. I feed a little water to her between meal sometimes. My baby has gained strength and power of her legs. She is trying to flip over her body.....but no success. I think she may do it within a month.
Dear all,
Have you give "nin tsui" (pacifier) to your baby? I read an article from BabyCentre that "Nin tsui" can clam a fussy baby. Don't let your baby addicted to it but wisely use it. Babies likes sucking, its ther basic instinct. If your baby is still crying after meal or you cannot clam her down (after using all methods like change nappy, singing with her, holding her, play toys with it...etc), you can use a "nin tsui". Parents should remind themselves that use "nin tsui" should be on the good will of the baby but not the parents (easily settle a fussy baby). Parents don't need to afriad that "nin tsui" will affect the growth of teeth. Permanent teeth (not baby teeth) will only grow at aged 6, "nin tsui" will not affect them. Well....to use or not to use....it's up to parents' preference. But, don't feel guilty if you give "nin tsui" to your babies. I hope the information can give you some idea.
My baby is still eating every 3 hours, for 3-4 oz only; but he quits the night feeding, so totally 7 meals per day. I have tried 5 oz before, but he vomits milk very frequently, so i better change back to 4 oz. Does any of your babies vomit milk? How to solve this problem?
Today I brought him to 'Health Centre', he is 5.560kg now......the nurse told me he is a bit over-weighed and can try to eat less meal per day... but he cried for milk very loudly ah! How can I change to 4 hours interval?
