Tell you a secret, too. I know my mom lies to my dad again on the $$ she spent 'cause she use $39 and got a 17-18inch talking pooh... but with the condition of spending $500+...of course she only tell dad the first half.... :mrgreen:

For me, I have some other books came with CDs, but I never use the CD as I read the stories myself all the time, so, for RaH, I bought the set without CDs to save some money.

Do you use CDs for story telling or will you read by yourself? If you seldom use the CDs, I'd suggest to save the money (and.... as far as I know, there is a 紅牌呀姑 here with the CDs, so.... we could borrow the CDs from her...

)

Just wonder if there's any background sounds when reading? What I mean is like "First Steps to Reading", or just plain reading? And for the music, are they singing the scripts, or different music?

According to what she said, the price was quite close to nn said to me in earlier time (about 6xx-7xx HKD per set)... I think it's in bargain price... coz in HK, 15 books @ $65 each + parent guide + flash card --> much much more than 1xxx laaa...

(and I think even I didn't tell her, she still will buy the whole set...coz RaH will be her gift to Joshua on his 2 yrs old b-day

who's 紅牌亞姑 in telling stories??? For me, I seldom use CD in telling stories too...
