i ate a lots when i was in teenage. i could eat 1lb slice bread each morning (u know, those 1 lb white bread - got 8 slices thing in the old days)

and i could eat 3 big bowls of noodle for dinner- the bowl is not the rice bowl, but the soup bowl that to serve people in the restaurant.

recalled in those day - mom/dad saying they have 4 "far kwun lung" at home. we never have rice bowls on the table for dinner...

and i weight 130lbs when i was 13 years old. people always think I am "Shan Tung" people

ppmm thanks for the compliment, i knew i put on lots of weight, and I never could fit on the L size, as i have a big bottom/thigh... usually bought xxL and adjust the waist lor. :mrgreen:

ckkwkl, don't worry, when your girl go to high school, she will watch out her diet... i remembered i dropped to 107lb once i started working as i don't want people tease me a "tai shan po"

the ground is very slippery. be careful. my daughter fell on ice after taking off the car and walked into school. i fell just now, and my pat pat and hand very painful.

That's why I didn't take my daughter to school and she couldn't join the activity in Early Years Centre this afternoon. Keep safe better than having fun.

i wished i had taken my notebook home last night, then I don't need to come to work today

so many snow
and will have company x'mas dinner tonight in Richmond hill... did not want to go... but no choice...

it is not so painful now, the flesh of my pat pat is very thick. but this winter is much colder than last year, snowing earlier too. :-( :-( estimate to be the coldest winter for the last 15 years. i know i will hibernate soon, only home - office/school - supermarket. no other place to go lor. i hate winters, esp cold winter.

係冰面個日好多小朋友都滑倒﹐我個仔都有份﹐見到有個小朋友達低起唔到身﹐佢要用四隻腳爬過馬路。舊年無雪又無雨﹐今年會落返夠本﹐這個冬天幾難捱﹗而家趁好天就要去多D街唔好唗﹐到大風雪就無乜娛樂。

唔知各位媽咪有無帶仔女去打新的腦膜炎針(Menactra)? 約$165﹐醫生寫咗紙比我去買﹐不過我考慮緊打唔打﹐隔一兩年又出一支新疫苗﹐該去打嗎﹖

if the doctor recommended you for this, i will get it. don't bother about 1-2 yrs later, a new one will be invented. have protection for now first.

my company will have the children's x'mas party on sunday. my younger daughter waiting for this for months already. always asking me when when when.
i will start x'mas shopping next week, i have 6 days vacation days left, must use all before end of this year. i will take 3 days each the following two weeks. itinially i want to take during x'mas week, but my immediate supervisor will take x'mas off every year, so i must stay in the dept.

My daughter took this vaccine. Since my insurance covered that, I would do it without doubt. You'll never know how bad the virus are now.

good that your company has kids Christmas party. My company had that, but once I have children, they don't have it anymore!! Enjoy your shopping! The shopping mall opens later now. I enjoy late shopping last Saturday. :)

another snow for the weekend? That means my husband needs to work again. :-( :-( :-(

Luckily, we don't have the habit to give Christmas gifts... I usually shop after Christmas for next year winter clothes. Family gift? How about a Wii? ha ha.

when your husband work on the weekend, will he get pay? if so, never mind lor -> more effort = more $$. unlike me, no overtime pay but still need to work overtime.

Wii too expensive la... just try to buy something for godchildren's auntie. as they gave us a tin of chinese tea last year for x'mas. and we don't know what to buy - they are not the chocolate eater... so... my husband say - buy the "first head -soya sauce" or the "XO-sauce "wor.. ?-(

just wonder - i knew it is practical, but o.k. for x'mas gift?

I said, how about the body shop hand cream or so. he said, only the wife will use it, how about the other family member. so he keeps saying. something that could be used by the whole family..

my husband will be coming in jan, he still has to finish the projects on hand first, but may still be delay. he said this project had been planned for 6 months and just start in nov, better wait until everything is finished and collect the money before leaving. the money will be enough for us to use for a few months - this is the main point lor.

depends on personality la. I would prefer something practical. Actually I have received a XO sauce as "hand letter" gift from my friend. In those days, XO sauce just came out, so it is pretty precious to try.

Em.. what is your budget? Why don't you get some nuts in a nice package?
