Cheaper than HK cos it was 20% discount.
But then I bought 2 gifts for the kids as well.

Need to buy S$100 min for free delivery.

$1514 for Pirates and $266.66 for Siu Bing books, but not yet calc the postage cos don't know this sum yet.

Will go to the Mkk Lego shop tonight and see if there is any Pirate Survival set, if less than $34.90 then I will buy for you.

No HSBC Bank A/c, just Hang Seng ja.
Will that one do ?

I plan to order from Lego.com then ship back to HK using One.Now, interested ?
eg Medieval Village (US$99.99, hk$12xx on yahoo)
Farm (US$89.99)
And Lego lunch box, book ends, ... :lol

Hi LSW,

If you want to buy really cheap books, you may go to 地鐵中山站地下書店街. There are a few book shops. Cite is one of those. Last time, I can find a few 三采漫畫, really cheap. Less than HK$50 per book.

誠品is a bit expensive. However, choices are more and more comfortable there.

I bought books from 博客來 last time. You may pick up the books from 7-11. The service is very OK ga.

I have also bought from 金 "ding". The books were dispatched to my hotel. You may ask the hotel to pass the money to the delivery man. However, my personal experience is the books from 博客來 are of better quality than from 金 "ding".

Have to go to 度小月 and 景泰豐 for meals. I like the former restaurant more.

There are a lot of small restuarants in 西門町area. I have tried one Japanese-Korean restarant for stone pot rice and hot pot udon. Quite value for money. In general, food in Taiwan is not expensive.

Sandboarding is like playing a slide but on sand dune. You sit on a sandboard & slide down from several storeys high. I was scared in the beginning becos of the height & steepness. Good thing is u won't get hurt even if u fall off onto the sand. No harm falling. Bad thing is walking all the way back up to the top & start sliding down again. The place is like a dessert, next to a wonderful beach (Stockton Beach), I vote it the best beach ever in my trip.

Interestingly there are quite a few mazes in Melbourne. They plant trees in diff shapes of mazes. Tall trees, big mazes. Even though we could only visit a small one, it was very fun. I will definitely go there again when I am in Melbourne.

BTW, I am a close friend of LunMa. Our husbands graduated from the same high school! Known each other for decades!

You all have deep pockets & big appetite for legos & books! Unfortunately my son can't catch up with all the stock I have got for him.

I used to be the one who organize our family trips. One time my husband asked me to go to Taiwan but I didn't fancy cos I had to leave my 2 kids behind. So my husband volunteered he would take me to diff places in Taiwan. What a failure! We ate at King Tai Fung but not Dol Siu Yuet & spent days at Elite bookstore (but not cheap at all). Fortunately I asked the conceirge & went to Sai Moon Ding. At first my husband said it was an old & slumpy area I wouldn't enjoy. In the end, it turned out to be the best spot with character in our opinion!

Yes Carly. Kv is normal till now, no signs of fever, think he has been fully recovered.

However, both my bun-bun and myself are sick now..... something wrong with our throat. Gotta see a doctor today.

Quite a lot, fortunately the owner was kind enough to deliver. Cos last night I took 1 full set (Carly) + 2 Soldier's Fort Fortress + 1 Cannon Battle back home ==> 1 box + 1 big bag. Fortunately piglet was more than willing to help take the big bag, said it was lighter than his trombone anyway.

So damp today, just like spring.

Piglet has been wearing short sleeves these 2 days.
Yesterday he had PE, and I had to write to teacher (in handbook) that he wore summer PE uniform cos it was 26oC !
(Otherwise I am dxxx sure he would have nose bleeding again ! If he is too hot, ==> bleeds quite profusely.)
