I eventually seized a chance to shop in CW last night. I went to the Causeway Bay shop and looked for the 莎娜繪本, I bought 奇妙的藍水桶 and 好饿的小白熊. My son read the former and likes it very much. He likes the whales and the blue bucket. He also liked the extensible pages. The shop has only two to three copies of 好饿的小白熊.
I also saw combined version (in one book with CD) and separate version (with 6 books with a cassette) of Hello Reader. They looked different to me and asked the shopkeeper. He was very nice and enthusiastic and told me that they were different in content. But I eventually discovered that they are the same!! Eventually, I bought the combined version.
I also bought a number of books regarding teaching children. One of them is “如何責備您家的寶貝孩子” They are the translated version and are very cheap. Each costs below $20. Similar books in other HK bookshops cost two to three times more.

Last thing, compared with IXXX, CW in Mongkok and Causeway CW, I found that the service quality of the last shop is the best. The most appealing service is the trial listening / watching of CD and VCD attached to the books. Yesterday, I intended to buy a children song book and asked the shopkeeper to show me the content of VCD. After watching it, I did not like it and not buy. Such service saves me money. :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

For the Hello Reader, the separated version with 6 books (+ 1 tape) which is the old edition. The new edition is the one with 6 stories combined in 1 book + 1CD. Moreover, the new version is cheaper than the old one.
Yes, although I like six books better, (easier for my son to turn over), I also have similar observations with you. That's why I bought the combined one.
BTW, I bought Longman Primary English Readers Books 3 to 5 eventually. I will regard them as picture books for my son to read.
