我今晚去開教協買嘢,見到有d星星貼紙,一包五隻色(金,銀,紅,橙,綠)總共240粒,只係賣$2.4,我買咗一包,用嚟貼上d name labels度分五個zones.

咁我遲d俾label妳嘅時候一齊俾埋妳ar!仲有,如果妳驚打唔切d label,我幫妳打d la,橫掂我有format而且過年放大假,妳有時間打俾我再斟啦!

actually could we email to all b/d party mama to bring their own paper/plastic bag, it will be more environmental friendly and cost saving.
Then we could arrange the gifts in rows on a big big table beside the sign-up table.
In a sign-up sheet, we could add 1 more row to indicate the mom who achknowledge receiving the gift.

Thanks for the offering. Please let me know on Monday whether we could get 50 or 53 pieces of the paper bags.

paulina, Cko, all,
For the bags, we have Elsa to help to get some free-of-charge paper bags. We discussed at the committee meeting that it will be better for us to pre-pack the gifts as we have tight schedule and many people (about 53 families and 17X people), if all families arrive at the gift/reception table around the same time to pick up the 11-13 gifts, it will be hard to control (as we have only 53 pieces for some type of gifts, it is very hard to control if some mums mis-take more or less of the gifts... ).

Also, we have some gifts with 72 copies (e.g. rice cereal sample packs) and some with 90 copies (e.g. magazines), we might need to share the gifts evenly among the group, i.e. some babies will get 1 pack of rice cereal plus 2 issues of magazines, while some other babies will get 2 packs of rice cereal plus 1 issue of magazines. If we do not pre-pack the gifts, it will be a mess at the reception at 2:30pm as people don't know how many to pick... hope you are fine with this arrangement. If you have some other ideas, please let us know.

For banner, I will ask me hubby to prepare the draft, then, maybe you could ask your hubby to help to provide comment and make further improvements.

Thanks for buying the star start stickers. I will keep track of the budget and will give you the money on Feb 27. For name, I will post it during this weekend, and will follow-up with mums next week to collect the naming info.

If any of you spend money for the party, please let me know before Feb 26 (if you could keep receipt, pls pass to me on Feb 27), I will prepare the final calculation on Feb 26, and calculate how much we spend and how much to refund to each mum on Feb 27.

我想問下個日可唔可以1:30pm 就開始 pack 野, 因為我見都好似好多 gift , 同又可能有 d 有去拿 gift 既媽咪未必可以準時到 (因為有可能窒車呀咁), 如果約早 d, 咪可以早 d 預備, 而且又有可能有 d 媽咪會早左到, 到時都唔知邊個有拿 gift , 邊個沒有拿, 如果 cafe 個邊可以早 d 俾一個空間我地預備就 very good 喇 :lol:

sorry to interrupt, for those mums who have the gifts at home now, they need to arrive at/before 2pm for packing, if you could only arrive at 2:30pm, I'm afraid it will not allow enough time for us to pack. Thanks for your offering, I think we could look for other mums who could arrive at/before 2pm to help, thanks!!

Hahaha.. I think there should not be able a problem. We could actually have lunch together at Cafe Musical at 1pm or even 12:30pm. Then, after the quick lunch, we could start packing. Let me confirm with Mr Fong of Cafe Musical that they have no booking in the morning/lunch-time for party. Will post the info here on Monday. Thanks canny for the great idea!!!
