my elder daughter wants a guiter as x'mas present, but according to her "3 minutes hot" character, i am asking her to get some other thing. i don't want to have another "big decoration" at home. i am trying to "wash her brain" to have her next school trip (5 days/4 nights) in feb as x'mas present, and add a small present during x'mas as compensate.

i am not sure they will have allegery to nuts or not. so might just take my husband's advise or buy box of biscuits or chinese egg noodle.. no specific budget $10-15 or so..

does your daughter play guitar? My hubby helped his student bought a guitar from Cosmo recently. The price is reasonable and the sound is good. If she really wanna buy one, better get someone who can find a good sound one.

no she does not know how to play, she wants to buy a guitar and learn. however, i am afraid that she is only "3 minutes hot". so i am still thinking about this. we went to scarborough town yesterday, saw a muscial instrument shop, i went in to have a look at the price, it is around $170 up, i have no idea is this reasonable or not.

i went to the x'mas concert of my daughters' school last night, the funniest show was performed by the SK/JK. You know what - some of the kids were not in mood to perform - one was busy in waving to his parents, one just in temper kicking his legs the whole show, one was curious about the spotlight on the stage and went to check for it from time to time, one wanted to make sure his mom was there and yell "mommy, can you see me. where are you.". very cute and funny, the most laughter gained from all parents.

i still need to go shopping tonight - skates for younger daughter, presents for their best friends, gifts for the girls (which i will buy during lunch time only, so that they will not know what is it), little gifts inside the x'mas socks. then everything is done. busy for these few days for the last round.

ppmm, you son looks different now, place the newest "big head photo" online.

i will go scarborough town tonight with my girls and my elder daughter's friends. we will buy gifts for my daughters' friends. they have x'mas party tomorrow. then i will buy gifts for my girls before attending the party as i do not want them to know what have i bought for them. btw, they have got a new down jacket now. the elder one will have pooh big head slippers and new pj. the younger one hv got a new sport shoes and a new skates already. still need to get something more things for them + the stuffs in sockings.

i will have tomorrow off

to take the god children for a buffet lunch -that they've been asking for over a month, then most likely to see the movie - national treasure -2..

ppmm where will u go for shopping? may be i could meet u in the markville mall...

enjoy....

BTW, HR just send out email saying Dec 24 could leave at 1:00pm with manager's approval.. not sure our boss will release us as we have year end closed. :cry:

i will h ...

i will put the presents under the x'mas tree and will open on boxing day. my younger one still believe in santa, she will try to sleep late on x'mas eve to wait for him for the little gift in the socklings.

I think we will buy gift in Walmart or Loblaws because my hubby gets a Loblaws gift card from his company.

my son looks different now. He looks big, but actually very small....
