I'm very happy as we're been upgraded to the suite at Magellen. The package is only upgraded to the Delux seaveiw, but now we have a big surprise.

Does anyone can tell me where to eat the curry laksa?

Hi, tvoincy,

When will you go there? How come you have been confirmed to be upgraded so early? I wonder it's usually request to upgrade when check-in.
Where did you buy the package and how much?
I am also planning to go in early June but not yet buy the package.

我今個月尾去就去沙巴玩啦~ 其實同小朋友去都唔多要識游水呀, 因為一係係泳池(bb池)玩, 就算係沙灘都只係玩下水咁, 都唔會游水架啦, 因為話有水母, anyway唔游得水~ 所以唔洗太擔心~

機票同hotel我都book晒架啦, 住shangri-la rasa ria resort~

係咪唔包接送去機場,到時你先至join local tour.希望你玩得開心d,影多d靚相返來同大家分亨.
我重未解決到小朋友既問題,因為其中兩個係人地既仔女,佢父母唔放心驚佢地作返,我同老公搞唔掂. &我個c佬話去d咁既地方對住個海唔知做乜.所以可能會轉返去日本玩. :-( :-(

we are planning to Sabah in June and have reserved the flight via Wincastle today : 2 adults 1 kid 5D4N Malaysia airlines stay at STAR HK$9,177 not inclusive of tax.

I know that you have joined Wincastle package in April, may I know what is the city tour (free) which they have arranged for us and I noted from your Sabah album that there is another Sabah tour, what is this ? Also, I am going to buy the tiger prawn and ice-cream but since we will take the 11:40 am flight not too sure if the stalls at the airport are opened or not? Is the price much more expensive if I buy them from the Winccastle tour guide ?? Thanks.

1. City tour : we took KA to Sabah. A guide picked u up at the airport. Then, the 2-hr city tour started immediately. U would go to see some landmarks of Sabah (nothing special :cry: ). An afternoon tea (have it at 1pm ) with only a cake & soft drink! The guide would tell you some information to facilitate your own tour (eg. eating, shopping). We also went to gift shop in this tour. The guide also sell local tour & frozen seafood, ice-cream to u in the trip. Then, we arrived STAR at 2:30pm. However, u take MA to Sabah & arrived at 6pm wo...
2. Local tour : we only joined a river cruise tour organised by Sabah Holiday (a partner of Wincastle as told by the guide). You can join the tour by paying to the guide directly. However, there is a Sabah Holiday tour desk in STAR (G/F of Tanjung Wing) & they gave me 10% discount as we joined Wincastle I don't recommend u to join any island tour. It charges about 110RM per adult (included a BBQ lunch on beach) You can simply buy speedboat ticket at the pier of STAR (40RM for adult & 20RM for kid). You can rent mat, mask, snokel at the pier as well. You can borrow big towels in service counter of swimming pool b4 u go to island.
3. Prawn tiger & ice-cream : The price of prawn is similar to the price of airport but ice-cream is 17RM of Sabah Holiday & 18RM in the airport. We bought the prawn & ice-cream at the airport as they only packed them for me when I bought. The shops in airport are opended already.
