I have booked my trip 13/8/04 to 16/8/04, it so happened that there is an international firework competition at Singapore and there will be a firework on 15/8 night at Marina Bay, so would you please advise me the best location to watch the firework :lol: I have also reserved M Hotel at S99, and I have finalized my schedule and would like to hear your comments, as follows:
1. Arrive Sg at 6:45pm - Check in hotel - to Clark Quate
2. Morning: Merlion Park - Sentosa
- Lunch at China Town
Evening: Zoo - Dinner there - Night Safari
3. Morning: Botanic Garden - Snow City
- Lunch at Snoopy Place (Orchard Rd)
Evening: Shopping Orchard Rd/Suntec - dinner -
- Firework
4. Check out Hotel at 9:00 to Airport
I lived in Great World Serviced Apartment for the first month I arrvied SG. This is a child-friendly apartment with indoor and outdoor playgounds, swimming pool, free baby cot and cutlery, well- equiped kitchen, free shuttle bus to Orchard Road(5min to Ordchard), Chinatown and City Hall, shopping mall besides, and boardband, etc. You may visit their website at www.greatworld.com.sg.
The apartment has baby sitting services at very reasonable price, SG8.00 per hour. The amah who can speak Cantonese will come to your room and take care of the children. I used this service while I had to go out.
A friend of my husband in Sg already told us on Saturday that it was closed, thank you for your advice.
By the way, any recommendation for the location for watching firework on 15/8, ?-(
I will go to Singapore next month with two children about four days. Actually I only have two full days to play. Do you have any idea where to go in Singapore ? Zoo ? Garden ? Snoopy Land ?

I live in Nirwana in Bintan. The SPA is not very good.

- go to Sentosa around 2:00 p.m., I think I can spend half day in Sentosa, will leave Sentosa after the show of Magical Sentosa, 音樂噴泉表演, 5:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., 每
My family (with a 2 yr old boy) is going to Bintan and Singapore later this month. One problem I'm facing is that we can only get tickets for the ferry from Bintan to Singapore departings at 9:30am, while our flight back to HK is 5:30pm. I plan to check-in at the airport first after we've arrived Singapore. What activities will you recommend for us to spend the whole afternoon? Thank you in advance for your advice.
