Dear all,
I let my daughter try to eat congee yesterday, but just to taste a little bit only! Carrot with congee, she seems like much!!! Maybe new food la !!!!! Hope she will continue like it.

嵐嵐hair-cut了2次啦, 樓下髮型屋師傅剪, 都要$50, 當然齋剪, 無洗頭啦..,

佢的頭髮好快長, 長了仲條條企直, 好似火雲邪神呀..

我地都有食粥, 1日1餐,仲食了BB碗半碗, 食完仲好似唔夠, 不過, 因大大不暢通, 暫時停了, 慢慢觀察再算.
我仲專登買了個電子紫砂煲煲粥, 亞媽就唔會煲燶粥 :mrgreen:

dear all,

oh yes, I have visited the Bookfair yesterday. In previous years, I seldom went to the Children Section, so no comparison can be made.

But for me, I have visited a no. of counter about children english learning book, CD+ VCD, including the Disney World of english (where I spend an hour to listen to the consultant, I know that I will not buy, full set=>$35700, but I really want to know what inside), mother goose, the Gifted Child Edu. gp, etc..Finally I broght 2 set of learning VCD from Gifted Child Edu..

I also bought some books fm. baby einstein. (~half price). For those who want to have the original DVD of baby einstein, it only cost $120 (original $149/disc)

I bought some big posters about no., counting and alphabet. Since many counters sold that kind of poster ar, so plenty of variety law. $ ranging fm 15-30/piece la.

For book, many many, different publican, different language. But I think it's too early for me to buy the books, next year la.

Some counter sell book in very cheap $ ar, half price. But need some time to select.

I suggest don't take our bb to the book fair, very crowded. If u really want to visit each counter deeply (both children's and Adult's), a whole day visit may need. I spend 5 hrs and only finished the Children section and scan through the Adult's

Very tired!!!

BTW, here got a post office at "hall 2", so if u buy much think u can post it to your home/office directly. 5 kg =>$75

my route: hall 5 (children section)=>post office at hall 2 (already bought many thing la, too hard to continue carrying)=>scan through hall 2 then hall one=> post office again to finalize my "mail".

my colleage will go to Shenzhen next week and if he got his meeting finish on time, he will go and check out the Baby Einsten for us. However, as wingwingchu mentioned, the original BE in the HK book fair is only $120, so pls do let me know no later than tomorrow whether you still want the one from SZ.

In fact I didn't look all the DVD of BE ga. I bought the BE books cos' I found that the content is attractive and the discount price is reasonable law. As I found that my hayhay quite interested in "reading"/playing book, so I like to select some attractive book to her la.

For the DVD, i only got the "language" one, in fact it's a bit boring ga, it teach at least 10 kinds of language. So I will let my bb have it later la. But the background music is wonderful. Although it's boring but I think it's ok for lauguage learning. For the book, it's another way of learning. In fact I'm not going to play the dvd to bb too often. According to the consultant I discussed w/ yesterday, for bb like ours, everyday 10-15 minutes is enough. So at other time, play CD and the book. So I buy some book law.

For the bookfair, daytime $20 for adult, evening (may be after 6/630) $10.

any of ur bb come out by operation (i.e. not natural birth). How u feel about the scar. Everytime when I looked at hte scar, feel special ga, it make me remember the period of carrying hayhay inside my tummy. Funny.

My baby is having Royal 牛欄牌奶粉, but she seldom has poo-poo everyday (ranging from 1 to 3 days). It looks alright in the early stage, but have got difficulties in poo-poo last weekend. She have no poo-poo for more than 4 days! And I even found that she tried to poo-poo but it did not success because the poo-poo is too "dry". She even got bleeding upon poo-poo. Then I help her by using the cotton stick, I broke the poo-poo into piece to help her to give them out. Finally she suceed. And got poo-poo almost everyday since last Sunday. But she really felt painful which can be realized from her face. Poor her!

However, for my friend's son, who also has the same Royal 牛欄牌奶粉, he has poo-poo twice per day. So, I think whether it is effective will vary from babies.

Nevertheless, as I told the nurse that my baby is having difficulties in poo-poo last Saturday, she suggest not to change the formula no. 2 too early, as no.2 is always more "hot air" than no.1. She also suggest we may change the no.2 after 9 mths. Need not to hurry.

Furthermore, she also suggest us to give two meals in congee instead of one, which will help the baby for poo-poo.

I started to give congee to my daughter two weeks ago and I prpared the congee with meat in pieces to her at first (of course only give her the congee not for the meat), and then after visited the healthy centre last Saturday, the nurse suggested us to give the congee together with the food. Then my Mum have started to give her congee with fish, vegetables and meat, but she still insist not to give my baby the food. 我試過比晴晴食番茄薯仔粥呢~ 但係佢都唔係咁鐘意食呢, 我唸我都係要比多d時間佢喇~ 不過我都試左比佢食乳酪, 晴晴好似都ok喎~ 我發覺我個囡好似鐘意食d酸酸地既野多呢~~~
我今晚擺低左個囡, 同我老公去左睇sammi concert呀~ 個囡喊左兩粒鐘, 比我預期既好嫁喇~

make copy of DVD, I don't know it can bo. But my DVD player can't play the DVD by PC ga, So I better buy the dvd set from SZ law. In fact I don't know whether it can play those form SZ or not ga, try try la.

dd104, my baby also had fallen from the sofa when he was only around 3 months la. Hope your baby is ok. You should buy either playpen or fence to keep him from falling la. Actually I have not bought yet but I know u can get it from jusco.

CC baby, my case is very similar to yours. My baby fell from sofa when he was about 3 month of age. Then last month I hit his head on the corner of the wall when I turned !!!!! Yes, we should be very careful la.

Poo-law, 原來噹噹可以咁樣用, 真叻!

Kee, u can feed your baby with apple juice for poo poo. 我仔仔食咗之後便便冇咁硬, 又密咗. U can try try.
