Is the Smallpox vaccination = 水痘針? I haven't taken Anson for 水痘針 yet. Is it a must or just an optional to take it? Why to choose this time to give Tasha this vaccin? Any reason? I know little about this one.

In less than 10 days, it's already been the Chinese New Year! It seems I haven't done anything for it yet! Last CNY, Anson was only 10+mths, he probably didn't know what is CNY. This year, I would try to let him know more about it

How is Ralph in the playgroups? Does he enjoy them and start to walk along in the classroom :mrgreen: ?

I think I would take the trial class after the CNY lu!

don't worry about over weight, Tasha looks good.

Andrea used to be overweight (touch 97% weight vs 50% height) and my doc ask me reduce the milk (ie, she needs 6oz milk, he advised me to feed her 4 oz milk only).

hehe, again, I didn't follow what the doc said (and I change to another doc now). Eventually, after sickness (running nose), Andrea lost weight. So if I follow the first doc's advice, Andrea will be 皮包骨 now

andrea still sleep in the cot at the moment and will change to 大床 during summer 'coz I'm a bit worry she'll get cold and out of control if she sleep in the 大床 :mrgreen:

I also let Andrea have 水痘針 already (after 1 yr old), spring is the infection season for 水痘 & flu.

My nephew (4-yr old) also was infected in school last week, fortunately, he took 水痘針 when he was 1 yr old, which he only had ~10 水痘, and not itchy at all. My sister doubt if it's 水痘, but per doc, if took 水痘針, the 症狀 will be very little, so it's recommend to take 水痘針.

My doc charge HK$400 per dose, quite reasonable price

Agree!!! let me check check the schedule with my family sin, which day you prefer ar?

We may have home visit so that our babies can play at the floor rather than sitting at the baby seat, what do u think?

That's good idea ah! You're right, BBs can play more freely than in a restaurant la. If u don't mind our BBs would messy up your house

, going to your place is good ah. I think if we all mami and BBs taking Taxi together all the way from Central to Shatin costs only about $80. That's OK ka :-P !

so far Andrea doesn't has any syndrome ar (touch wood sin), doc said 水痘針 is very mild, no need to worry much. However, some babies still have some reaction like, fever or have 水痘 within 2 weeks.

It's my pleasure if you all can come lah. We can have snack/tea at my home and go to club house to play, it has an indoor playground (have 波波池 & slide + other toys), which has little people during weekday

The taxi costs ~$130 fm Central to my house in less than 20 mins

Long time no chat la coz Ralph is getting sick . He has a slightly fever and coughing. He gets no mood now!!!! :cry: :cry:

Sorry to heard that Ralph is not feeling so well, wishing him is getting better now. Cause CNY is coming la. I totally understand u, last time Lam Lam got fever, her temper is really bad and need me to hold her until she fell asleep!

Thanks u so much for all your caring and advice. Lam Lam's sleeping habit is improving gradually. She still wakes up several times during midnight, but i just need to cuddle her for a while before she go to sleep again! Actually she nap very little in the day time already, i wonder how come she still has so much energy at night.

Just learn a interesting method of getting baby to sleep, but i haven't try it before, see whether it works on Anson!!

Sorry to hear that Ralph is not feeling well. In this kind of weather, easily get coughing. Few days ago, Anson is having 幾聲咳, but touch wood, I didn't hear his coughing these two days. I hope Ralph will get well soon as well.

Can imagine Ralph's disappointed face.....Oops, no more toys :cry: .....Ralph is sooooo cute :mrgreen: !

Really looking forward to it. But I think after CNY, my schedule will be better.

You know, last time I said I bought the 宝宝雙語乐園, Anson listened to it for few weeks, last week he touched his chin and said '下巴' in mandarin when I was taking bath for him. And then I asked him what is '下巴' (in mandarin), he touched his chin and answered me 'chin' (in english) :lol:. Haha....it's really interesting.

Really thank you your link for 有個方法係令小朋友快速入睡的. It's worth trying later after I buy the onion. You know, now his afternoon sleep is easier to handle coz I'll take him out and let him play and walk until he's really tired. Then when he get to his bed, he will be very easily falling asleep after he finished his milk. It works these two days. But at night time, it's still not solved. He has too much energy and always plays after 12am and even until 1am

:evil: . I may try the 'onion' method to let him sleep later :mrgreen: !

This is a great idea, I've missed seeing you and the babies already. BTY, will the taxi driver willing to hold all 4 of us and our babies? Is it legal?
Also, we can book a taxi since they have discount for booking over $50.

Natasha started to have fever from Tuesday morning and she still has it now. Went to see the doc, he said it's unlikely to be the reaction of the Smallpox Vaccination but it does happens. He also said it could be "Rose Rash" since we went to Festival Walk with my in-laws on Sunday and they let Natasha sit on the Park'n'shop shopping cart. Her fever is higher at night and lower in the afternoon therefore I also think this might be it. Anyway, doc said if the fever doesn't go on Saturday, I would have to bring her back to the clinic.

Did you bring Ralph to see a doctor? Are you still going to Dr. Chen? Must be careful with the cough, don't let it turn to bronchitis.

Natasha is still not walking very much, maybe she is too lazy too. But I'm sure she can walk cos I tempt her with some chocolate the other day and she walked from the dining area to the sitting area without holding onto anything and without falling.

Good to hear that Lam Lam is sleeping better. As for napping very little, babies do have so much energy, Natasha slept for only 10 hours a day with she was Lam Lam's age. Incredible!

I will also try the mandarin playgroup after new year. But hope there's still not many people in Wednesday's class so that we can ask them to reschedule the class from Wed to Thurs if it's also okay with Ralph.

Anson really learn very quickly, already know the identify chin and two languages after watching the video for a few weeks. Baby really learn fast.

Date : Feb 15 (初7, Tue), It's 人日, everyone's birthday, we may have a small birthday cake to celebrate the CNY.

Time : ~12:30noon (arrive my house)

Theme : How about all of our babies wearing the 華服? It'll be a wonderful picture

If only 5 adult & 5 babies, my little house should be okay for lunch, after lunch, we all can go to clubhouse and play :mrgreen:

In fact, I don't think Anson is smart ka, but sometimes he would say something that's really surprising me and would like to share with u guys. Like tonight, Anson was holding a plate (toy) and walking around the sitting room and said ' 叉燒飽' ?-( . I asked my hubby if he had taught him this, he said no! Both hubby and I were shocked. I think he only tried ' 叉燒飽' 2 times and quite a long time ago. But then, he would suddenly say and act like this, really made us 啼笑皆非 ka :lol: !

I think I'd started late to teach Anson things. I'm sure all your babies would be much more smarter at the age of Anson now

Sorry guys, been busy taking care of Tasha and cleaning up the place.

Tasha's fever has stopped since yesterday and no signs of rashes yet. I think it shouldn't be Rose Rashes then, right?! Probably just catch some sort of virus from Sunday. Though she has been very naughty these couple of nights, hardly sleeps at all.
