It is not easy to ask someone to do what you are in your mind.
I’m going to tell u a more funny story about helper:
One of my friend who has a restaurant in HK, he just opened one restaurant in China (close to Shenzhen) recently. He hired a chef (Mainland Chinese) to prepare white/soya sauce chicken and roast pork. So it is very clear that the daily routine of this chef is supposed to make chicken and roast pork. One day, this chef cook the chicken in Chinese herbs, so the colour of the cooked chicken are neither white or brown (soya souce chicken), they are all grey. So If u are the boss, how you are going to do with the grey chicken.
So in compare with China mainland staff, I think our helper is already better than them la.
