I just face this question before. Recently we enrol the 培殷幼儿園at Cheung Sha Wan for coming Sep 08. Last Sat we walk from the school back to Pacifica, it took around 15-20 mins. May be you can try it. One more thing this school is a full time school ie from 8:00 am to 4:30pm.

If you want to find a half day one, you can go to Mei Foo 嘉心. They have am or pm class. For the one at 海麗, it provides K1-K3 only not N1.

I have just made my decision to let my son go to Keenmind at Kowloon Tong la! Really don't want to let him study full day ma! For meifoo nursery, actually I have applied "Suen Mei" and was admitted for pm class, but pm class not suitable for my son, it's definitely nap time. Seems not many choices nearby la!

I understand your situation. I contacted the "Ka sum" nursery and they only have pm class and full day class. anyway, I paid the reserve fee for the "

ui Yan" nursery.

Are you going to move to Kowloon Tong? If not, are you going to bring yr son to the nursery every day? My friends recommend me to find a nursery nearby home. Because if there is any typhoon or urgent matter, it is more convenient to bring back the child to home if necessary. Just a little suggestion for you.

We are not going to move to Kowloon Tong gar (only if we win mark six, hehe)! I will let him travel by school bus lor! If there's any emergency, I will ask my maid/my hubby to pick him up! Actually I tried travel by Bus to keen mind, it's not really very far gar (20mins), better than I expected. For the nursery, I am not so insist to go to school everyday, if there's heavy raining, I may just let him stay at home jar. It's just our thinking!
If for meifoo, I have considered before, If we don't take bus/ transportation tool to school, it takes 15-20 mins to walk there. Seems still far! ai......why there's no nursery really near home lei? poor us!

I have the same question - why we don't have a nursery nearby or just downstairs. Could you share why the "keen ming" attracting you to enrol? Any special teaching menthod? For in BB kingkom many moms recommend this nursery. Thank you.

Actually, at the very begining, I enrolled only because I worried that my son can't get a place for N1! However, after the visit to the school, the teachers and the volunteer mami have given me very good impression. I am not so sure about the teaching method, but I learned from my friends that, it is a good kindergarten and quite famous in these years. (the only thing I know is they have native English/PHT speaking teachers...hehe) For joining this type of school, I don't need to worry too much for K1 admittion as the worst case, Keenmind will offer me priority to promote to K1 ma! What I am thinking is, nowadays, many good primary changed to 直資, which means studying in a good (famous) kindergarten maybe more important in the near future. This is my opinion only.

Sunday pm is OK, Sat pm we are now attending 協康 playgroup till end Apr０８．

How's the Ymca playtots playgroup? An English speaking one?
