The big one you unwilling bring to outside.
If not, I think buy a new DC ok la!
Don't buy harddisk!! A 8G can take over 2hour( 1980x1280). It 6 times better resolution than DVD.
If you just take 10min /day. You just need copy to harddisk within 2 week.
Why you less to see people take video outside??
I think big size is a main problem.
I bought a sanyo HD1000 to Thailand, i just use (1280x720) The color and resolution very good. But focusing very slow and very easy cause to hand shack. It just fit place in to a Jeans pocket.
