I booked with westminstertraxxx. If you're willing to afford a little extra, oceanview deluxe room is definitely alot better, and closer to the main lift lobby. For the ordinary deluxe room facing mountainview, you need to walk quite a lot more.

just a quick question, how to arrange for a private driver? i thought it was just easier to grab a taxi and go to the hotel. would be staying at Ritz Carlton too.
pls advise.

Yes the best way to enjoy Sanya is staying at the hotel to swim, enjoy the sun and beach. There's nothing for you to venture out in Sanya (but its' still okay to go for cheap bargaining on local prod ...

My last call for decision, 各位可唔可以比下意見?

Hilton同Ritz Calton, 四日三夜一家三口最後價錢既差額HK$1,800, 仲要係Hilton已包free airport transfer, 小童早餐, 小童加床...而Ritz講明小童早餐要再加錢, 加幾錢去玩就知, 仲有, 佢可能強制你加床, 因為小童都有9歲啦.....

想問一下, 兩者既水準係咪真係差咁遠, 當然心思思想試新酒店, 但係相差成2千大元, 係三亞又可以好好洗啦...

我有七人同行, 2個家庭, 首選係要有好resort feel既酒店, 要有七彩既小童滑梯, 要多些花草樹木, 總之感覺係酒店大到行極都唔完...私人沙灘乾淨, 最好游到水...

我唔鐘意黑黑沉沉既色調, 有好有氣勢既酒店大堂, 咁唔知邊間酒店較啱我?

您的機位已confirm啦? 我都在為選酒店煩惱中, 2年前住過Sheraton, 感覺幾好, Service o.k. 泳池沒有滑梯,房間光猛,酒店都好大! 今次都想試 Ritz Calton, 但我亦擔心小童收費問題,因我有2名, 分別是7及4歲,請問您知唔知 Ritz Calton 的actual位置在亞龍灣邊度??

我都係心水Hilton同Ritz Carlton，兩間二擇一,但我已經有機票, 只需要淨book酒店, 兩間差額每晚大概500元, 不過我傾向Hilton多D, 我一家三口，細路四歲，而始終Ritz Carlton較新，未有太多口碑，又少相關相片，反之Hilton感覺好似Resort feel 多D，我又係唔多鍾意好grand 同Business feel既酒店，所以都係會book Hilton

HI Daisy17772,

Can you give me some ideas on Ritz Carlton Sanya, as follows:
- Do they have 2 queen beds (5 ft) in their deluxe rooms?
- Are the restaurants very expensive, eg HK$200 for a beef burger meal?
- Is the hotel near any other hotels or restaurants with more reasonable prices?
- Is the hotel good for 3 year old kid? Is Ritz better or Hilton?

as far as i know, there is no ordinary room in banyan tree sanya, they only have pool villa...so we will be staying in our villa with private pool and garden...so i think it is ok for the kid to swim ...

Hi Sarsmum,

I just came back from Banyan Tree Sanya on 3 July. Environment and service is excellent. There is a private beach but it is not yet ready for use. They said it will only be ready around November.

We stayed in their Deluxe Pool Villa for 3 nights. There is two separate buildings inside our house. One is the living and dining room and the other is the bedroom and toilet. Between the two buildings is the private swimming pool and garden. There is also a Jacuzzi by the side of the swimming pool.

We stayed in the hotel most of the time and also had our meal inside Banyan Tree. Food is not bad.

The only bad thing we found is that there are sooo many mosquitoes , which you can imagine in such a greenery environment.

Yes

- Is the hotel near any other hotels or restaurants with more reasonable prices? Yes, it is located at the end of Yalong Bay, so their beach seems to be the most private one along other hotels along yalong bay. Its food price is similar to other nearby hotels, not the most expensive one which I could recall. The most expensive one I have been to are the seafood house at Hilton and the vietnam restaurant at Marriott.
- Is the hotel good for 3 year old kid? Is Ritz better or Hilton? Yes. Hands up for Ritz. No doubt.

Marriott has got the most pleasant looking lobby, with green pasture and spacious beach area. But Ritz should have g the most spacious beach area and in fact it is the biggest hotel in Yalong Bay. Hilton is built more narrowly. So in terms of the view, Ritz and Marriott has the more stunning ocean view and lot more spacious. The kids room at Ritz is bigger than in Hilton, but Marriott has got a separate pool for children.

I gave up Ritz eventaully coz they need to charge kid's breakfast, and no round trip shuttle....

How to choose between Hilton & Marriott? Someone say Hilton is comparatively new. Is that true? How big is the difference? Which room is larger?

Hi cheapbombom,
I 'm book 2 night Ritz and 2 night Marriott and I have direct inquired to Ritz, she said free breakfast for 10 year old kids and not request add the bed for the kids.
Marriott can late check out till to 6:00pm.

係啊....你呢? 一家三口埋單要HK$10,600....(連稅, KA, 4日3夜Hilton)

我未plan行程啊, 總括以上既資料, 有:

5. 蜈之洲島?

2. 第一市場 (海鮮) 3排8號/3排7號

4. 金棕櫚(自助燒烤RMB$168)
5. Ritz Calton Beef Burger (RMB$120) + 海南雞飯

唔知仲有邊度要去, 仲有邊度可以食野?
