by the way, did you serve warning letter to your maid about letting in strangers to house without your permission. This is a serious mistake and you better give her a warning letter and ask her not to commit next time, to safeguard the your property and the safety of your house.
If I were your husband, I will take down the ID and the name of the 'stranger' in the presence of the maid. Let the maid knows that you are serious about not letting anybody to house without your permission. Tell her that you will call the police or the security next time.
Yes, it was a serious mistake. My husband only showed his black face to her. My maid sent her friend out immediately and confessed that she was wrong and would not do it again in the future. However, I would install the camera for security and asked my mum to surprise check her once a while
