A 1.2cm low density cystic lesion with no solid component is noted in the left parietal subcortical white matter, in connection with the occipital horn of left ventricle. there is no significant white matter loss or abnormal intracranial calcification. this lesion is of indeterminate nature but is unlikely trauma related
