A review of your Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) application is underway. To continue processing your application, we need some documents from you. If your documents are not received by the prescribed deadline, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will have to assess your application with the information that is currently available. This may result in the refusal of your eTA.
Do not submit your documents by email.
To find out what documents you need to submit, by when you must submit these documents, and how to submit them:
Create a GCKey and a secure account with IRCC. If you already have an account, simply log in.
Once you have created or logged into your account, you will need to link your eTA application to your account by clicking on the “Link eTA application to this account” button. You will then be able to view the message in your account that lists the document(s) you need to submit.
For detailed steps on how to create an account, link your eTA application, locate details about the documents you need to submit, and upload documents in your account, follow these instructions.
During the review of your file, you are not considered to hold a valid eTA. As such, you should not plan or undertake any travel to Canada by air. If you do decide to travel to Canada, you may experience delays or be prevented from boarding your flight and/or entering Canada.
