I usually pumps it after bath. It will be 1.5 to 2.5 oz for storage. I use the milk bottle to store it while the bottle is put in freezer under temp 0.
Read from book, milk under diff temp. cannot mix together. i.e. Use a new bottle for everytime after pump . But I can mix 2 bottles together when they are both kept at same temp when feeding for BB.
Of course, there is expiry date for the milk too.
I nipple 損左, use the breast milk to protect after bf. If very serious very serious with blood. Then you can use nipple shield temperory. It is just temperory otherwise, BB will be used to it.
For the short Nipple. May be you can try to use the Nipple Shield (I use Avent and Medela). I think Medela is better. My BB do not like my nipple before too. Now, it is OK and enough milk for him.
I have same experience before too. Since my nipple is short and difficult for him to suck. But nurse told me this is not a reason and encourage me to try. I have tried for 2 hrs but fail finally. I push my breast. But he accept the nipple shiled after I use it.
