Now my bb 4 and a half mths old, he was so itchy on the head and scratch so much into all wounds as well in the last 3 wks. Doctor said don't use shampoo to wash the hair anymore as the weather getting dry. And since last wk i started to use QV bath oil and QV cream for my son; the case turns much better.
Cream has to continuously put on face and head (especially the dry areas), he then would stop and reduce the scratching ga la.
Per my bb's case, use doctor's given 類固醇cream control the situation sin. Once under control (normal after 1 to 2 times thin layer 類固醇cream) then with oil bath, and continuous cream; bb's skin would resume ok ga la. But remember need to keep clean and cream on all the time; otherwise once gets dry, it will itchy again ga la (slaver on face will turn red and itchy).
