My bb born on 26 May. He has been started eating bb cereal for almost 1 month. His weight is around 17 pounds & always sucking his thumb & whole hand already.
Also, he always turn his body 360*c & can sit by himself for around 3-4 mins.
Now, I'm started giving him veg. & fruit while eating cereal.
My Johanan born on 28.5.2005 and is a long BB.
He is about 18 lbs now and wearing clothes for 6-12 months BB. The nurse says that he is a Large size BB.
He can turn body and sit for a while.
If he is in the training car, he can walk very fast.
He can say Pa Pa (not Ma Ma).
He can pay the toy piano which can stick at the back stand of his bed.
He can climb backward (not forward) but slowly.
He grows fast maybe because he has 1 sister (4 yrs) and 1 brother (2.5 yrs) who are very very active and like to play with him all the time.
He eats a lot. Everyday he drinks 5 times (evey time 6 oz - either powder or mother milk) and 1 bottle of bb food (small size - stage 1) and 1 cereal (3 table spoon mixed with milk) and 90 ml of rice water.
No need for him to drink at night after 3 weeks old.
My baby girl born on 27 May, 16lbs now. She still can't call pa pa and ma ma yet, althought i teach her everyday.
She can sit for a minute now with the support of her hand and a few second without support and learning to crawl. When she lye on her stomach and i called her from her back and acts like chasing her she will move her legs very fast like trying to crawl. Very funny.
She can turn both side and this morning she almost fell down from the bed. lucky that i saw and caught her just in time.
She like to suck her thumb, and like to talk with a noice of "Blu Blu Blu".
She start having the plain rice cereal with milk when she was 4.5 months and congee with fish and vegatable on 5 months old. Although i read many articles that it is better for baby to start solid food from 6 months old. I just follow doctor's instruction.
Good to hear about all your bb stories.
My daughter was born on May 11, 7lb15oz, 51cm. She is now 18lb1oz and 68cm. She drinks 4 milk feeds (6 oz each) and 3 solid feeds a day and sleeps from 8pm-7am. She cannot turnover yet but can sit and raise chest. She can also say mama and "mum mum" (food) and laugh out loud. She loves to play and listen to music too.
Hello all May05 mamas!
This is my first time here - nice to meet you all.
My BB boy was born on 23 May.
He's a very naughty boy - drinks breastmilk whenever he feels like it but hates drinking from the bottle. So everytime when I go to work, he prefers to starve himself...
Just started rice cereal last week - he seems to like it very much.
He's still toothless and has very little hair! He's a medium size BB but he looks big coz' his head is huge! He likes to roll over. He's learnt this since 2 weeks ago. (But he can't roll back yet.) He kicks at EVERYTHING!
The things which make him laugh are:
1) Seeing mama and papa making funny faces
2) Letting him dance on the table (of course, we need to hold him.)
3) Suddenly appearing in front of him to give him a suprise
So glad to know that your baby girl also born on 27 May.
My boy was born in the afternoon of 27 May, and is now almost 18 lbs (he was 17.7lbs on 8 Nov). He is a breastfed boy and drinks 5-9.5oz of breastmilk each meal. He hasn't taken any solid food yet, but will start to try plain cereal on 26 Nov. I think he will like it cuz when he sees us eat, he will look at us w/o blinking his eyes. So funny!
, i finally found a mum whose baby born on same date.
My gril was born in the late morning 11 ++am. How about your boy?
You are so good, still breastfeed your boy. Me
  not sucessful on BF, only partly bf Claire for 3 months.
Your boy will definately love plain cereal. I rememver the first time i feed Claire, she was so happy. Now, everytime when i feed her congee, she will talk baby lauguage happily like saying "Um, the food is delicious!!
She can sit by herself these few days, can crawl a little bit but backwards and this often make her fustrated.
She started eating rice cereal 2 times 1/2 bowl 2 weeks ago and breastfeed 4-6 times a day, about 3-4 oz milk with bottle She refused to use new bottle and I have on way but continue to use the newborn bottle(4oz) for her. She weighted about 7.5kg at 6.5mths old.
I 've started "Cry It Out" training for her almost 5 days now. Because she can't sleep be herself (need breastfeed and in my arms) and wakes up every half hour until 24:00. It's hard for her and for me.
I was scheduled to have caesarian around noon on 27 May, but one emergency case had jumped the queue, so I gave birth to my son at around 4pm. Poor me, I had had no food & no water since midnight on 27 May !
re breastfeeding
Yeah, I'm really lucky that I can give full breastmilk to both my son and my daughter. My daughter is now 3 years old and I'm still breastfeeding her for her bedtime meal.
