你會大約邊個月份返去長住呀? 我地都未定實, 但會 4 月左右過一過去睇環境先,
再諗下住邊個 suburb, 都未必住番以前住果區, 我同 jamie 有小朋友會局限少少,
我心中都係 Glen Waverley or Doncaster, 但有朋友住 Point Cook 話好舒服,
到時再認真望望啦~

yeah 又多個新朋友, 多多指教呀, 習慣未呀? 我心目中都想住 Glen Waverley, 到時多多聯絡呀~

你講運傢俬方面, 我之前都講過因為屋企裝修 set 死好多都帶唔走, 咁如果我新買傢俬運過去,
未用到 12 個月, 會唔會好大問題呢?

我老公就話大件野過到 melb 先買, 始終長用, 佢仲話自己識砌傢俬~ haha

我之前都住過glen waverley ，好多野買又多野食，好多中國人住，我有d香港朋友都住個度。而家個區d屋都吾平呀！不過就無boxhill禁雜，幾好。

我都係咁話，我係melb 識d朋友仔個個都好helpful .雖然不是成日見面，但會互相幫忙，吾似香港d朋友protective 同埋見面都係玩。有時要去機埸出國呀，搬屋好多時都要搵人幫手。可能香港太便利，根本不用朋友幫

Yes, the mover is very good and reliable. When we moved to Toronto in 1996, we were also using their service. They had a good estimate for the size of your shipment in the 1st and 2nd free on site inspection. For new items, actually the immigration doesn't bother too much. We have quite some new stuff, including 2 single beds + mattresss + bedside table, clothes hanger, 1+9 dinning table set, 1 easy chair, 1+3 new sofa. No problem at all. They are very concerned about the cleaniness of your shoes and vacuum cleaner. The cost did not include local immigration inspection charges. Normally it's AUD500-600 for a half-hour inspection. Make sure you have the above items well cleaned or else they might charge you more for extra time required.

We have settled down quite well.

Just asked me any question you can think of. I am happy to help ! I do have fb and a HK nbr that you can call.

Labour is expensive. You need quite some time to get used to it. Say, if you buy a washer, you have to pay a delivery charge of 75. and get the dish washer installed is 150+. So most of the time is DIY.

Welcome back! I am actually new to Australia too and just landed here for 3 months, I live in Wantirna South and still close to Mount Waverly. :)
I think you should get your moving plan set up well, and work it out bit by bit.
I used Santa Fe as my relocation company and I was satisfied with their services, though they were not the cheapest quote that I got.
