一個月前可網上預定東橫Inn:http://www.toyoko-inn.com/china/index.html，博多口站前，佐世保，熊本幾間都不錯，建議第一晚入住加入成為會員，即可享會員價，小學生可免費入住，每床一個，一個小朋友住雙人房或雙床房度可以。八月頭九州有很多花火大會，如果你有火車證可以晚上去看煙花。

Nice to share with u! For 太空世界, I did not consider to go coz I think it's a bit boyish and I got two girls, I think they are not very interest to go.

But is it too late to book tokyoko-inn hotel only 一個月前 ? How many person should I input ? Can I just join the membership when arrive ? So, that means no need to pay in advance ? I will buy 5 days North JR pass to go 花火大會 as it is beautiful. Any wesbite for 2012 花火大會 ?

Glad to share with u too ! For 太空世界, it is a theme park for spaceship, it is applicable to all children, you can also go to 往北九州市自然史歴史博物館‧生命之旅博物館 (JR 太空世界站) as well. BTW, anyone will go but no drive ?

Hi all,

..... just checked online for hotels, really so costly!!! :(

My initial itinerary as below (coz i only have totally 6 days, i need to minimize my trip)

Day 1 - Arrive Fukuoka around 4pm, then just shop and eat around near Hakata or Canal city (stay at Nikko - just want to change it to Green Annex as to save cost, but fully booked :( )

Day 2 - Get the car and then start going to Harmonyland, since my kids will stay there long, so we have to go it first and at least to stay there half more day (plan to stay as Daiwa resort Kitty room)

Day 3 - Planning to go to 九州自然動物公園 and then drive to Aso farm area (stay at Aso farmland but find that very costly!!, any other options?)

Day 4 - Planning to go to Volcano and then start driving to 豪斯登堡 (plan to stay in 豪斯登堡 hotel or 佐世保???)

Day 5 - driving back to Hakata and maybe go to outlet? (stay at Nikko)

Day 6 - just hanging around Hakata and then take plane back to HK

Sumsumbb and dillion, is the above itin ok? any wrong way and any suggestions?

Sorry for bother u~ but really headache~~

To be honest, I have not been to Harmonyland (my boys don't like it.), the zoo and Ah Bun. I have driven in Hokkaido and Honshu but never in Kyushu. Based on my experience with train the drive from Aso to Huis Ten Bosch will be very long. Aso to Kumamoto would take about an hour and it should take another 3 hours to get to Huis ten Bosch.

The drive from Fukuoka to Northern Oita, where Harmonyland is, should be around 2 hours.

As I have been going by trains and staying at business hotels next to the train stations, it may be best for those with driving experience in Kyushu to advise you.

My apology. Non-members can book 3 month in advance; members, half a year.

How many person should I input ?
Enter 2 persons. Kids under 12 can stay free. Their kid policy is as follows:

陪同兒童在床上睡的兒童只限小學生以下（中學生以上則與大人同樣對待）
陪著兒童在床上睡時一張床只限陪一人，雙人房（一張大雙人床）只限陪一人，雙床房則可陪二人。
同床睡的兒童免費，但不提供兒童的毛巾、拖鞋、牙具、枕頭等客房用品，需要利用
客房用品時要支付一些費用（一般為1000日元）。

Can I just join the membership when arrive ?
Yes. You get instant discount. Even you have been confirmed with non-member rate you pay member rate on the spot.

So, that means no need to pay in advance ?
No need. But if you change your plan please cancel your reservation at once so that others can book. You are required to give at least a day notice to cancel reservation.

This is the 2011 site: http://hanabi.walkerplus.com/list/kyushu.html. Click the arrow will give the time table for each prefecture. I suppose the 2012 information is not available yet. The number on the right indicates the number of fireworks shot. It is reasonable to expect the more the better. If you stay in Hakata you can look at the time table in Fukuoka Prefecture. Some of the spots in Saga and Kumamoto prefectures should be close enough to go. For example, 玉名(熊本縣). I have been to 大濠公園 and 久留米 and they are good.

There are many places in Fukuoka that are free and perfect for kids. You can check the Fukuoka tourist site http://yokanavi.com/tw. Some places to consider include:

你Day 4去完ASO火山再去豪斯登堡相信都下午茶時間了，你睇下Day3可否去埋ASO火山，然後住熊本，Day 5可早些到豪斯登堡。

九州自然動物公園和Cuddly Dominion(阿苯與阿占)都是動物園，或者你是但去一個啦，再唔係Day2晚上去九州自然動物公園的Night Safari！

Hi sumsumbb, actually I am not a must to go to Aso volcano, maybe we go inside hos ten b earlier! But if i am not going to aso volcano, what should i do in aso area? Hey, which hotel will u stay at hos ten? Is it include the park entry fee? Thx

我選了大倉酒店（以前的ANA), 45天前方案，連早餐+兩張入場連passport+兩張one piece遊船河門券，34000yen，小朋友的早餐和門券另外加，但酒店會為他準備浴衣和拖鞋。
早訂會有優惠方案，否則要多付萬多yen!
但以你的行程計，你會星期六晚入住，房租會較高啊！或者你在別府阿穌玩得多些，Sat晚去烏栖outlet,和入住烏栖，遲一天才入豪斯登堡，星期一直接出機場還車！
