There will be "Gingerbread House Workshop" in Loblaws (McCowan Road / Bullock Drive <HWY 7>), starting Dec 1 to 21 (Saturdays & Sundays only). I don't know if others bigger Loblaws has this workshop or not. The price is $15 + taxes, maximum two person per house. They will provide a gingerbread house plus a package of different candies for decoration. I had attended last year and my girls were so happy and excited about this. Enroll early if you wish to join, it was full in mid Nov last year already.
I went to Markham Market (Kennedy/Denision) yesterday, only "little kitten three or four" customers. Only a few cold meat stalls (steak, chicken, fish), several food stalls (no Chinese food), 3 or 4 small grocery stalls and bakery. Visit once, then no need to go again.

Dear Moms, Would you please advise me how much to pay to empoly a Filipino maid in Canada and are there good benefits to them? My maid told me that if the HK Govt. needs them to pay income tax, she would rather work in Canada. I don't know her meaning but I think there would not be that big demand compare to HK. Please also advise is it popular to have maid in Canada and is the documentation very complicated. I am worrying she would only give me short notice before the end of her contract and I have a 18 month-old son. Many thanks

Did any Toronto Mom (or Dad) went to Jacky's concert last night in ACC? Well, I did. The concert was delay until 9pm (originally 8pm). But it's a full three hours non-stop concert.
A bit disappointed towards the end when Jacky lost breathe and out of pitch. He apologized to all audience of not doing his best.

Thanks for you info, I will check. I really hope that there's no need to go to work this morning ka - because of the estimated 25 cm of snow. However, it's not that much last night. It is snowing heavier than this morning now. My car is all covered with snow already.
