我幫細仔攞HKID & passport 時，個入境主任打電話俾我問呀仔有冇其他國籍。仲要我寫封declaration letter to declare he has not acquired any other citizenship before they would issue me the HKSAR passport
My hubby and son have just been approved for the PR application. How long will it take for him to get this ID card? He is working in HK and will need to apply leave to come Sin for the submission of PR documentation. Thanks!
I remembered when the pr is approved, then u have to make appointment and can get it on that day. No need to wait for seven days.
Haiz.. I am PR already so it means i can't even get HKID for my son?
But if i really want to, how can i choose his nationality to be Chinese instead of singaporean? I think he is born to be singaporean lah wor...can choose meh?
Hello Clarevalley, my son was born in HK while I am Singapore PR. He still get Singapore citizenship and HKID, passport and 回乡证. It seems to have little advantage to give birth in HK.
Hello Pulva,It is too late for me to go back to hk to deliver now. I have paid deposit to my gynae and i have a job here, if i want to get 16 week maternity leaves, my child has to be sigapore citizen. If not can only get 8-weeks.

If i have to deliver in hk and stay there for months, hubby will be very sad, and my parents in law will definately doesn't like this. Last time i mentioned maybe can try to apply hkid for my husband they also said sth negative. They are proud of being singaporean.
