Remember me, seldom talk here recently!

St Simon kindergarten is not small la…… It has a whole building and a big playground with about 50-60 children only. You know, other kindergartens are just situated in one floor of the estate building!
If you want your child to have some self care learning at 2-3 years old, I like St Simon. My daughter studied here for half year and I think it is OK.
I still have a school-bag left, quite new, if anyone does not mind, take it!

囡囡要12月先可以插班... 即係一返學無耐就放 x'mas & cny... ... 係唔係應該 2月(下學期)先比佢入學好d呢...
有d mami 話 x'mas 會有party , 好開心...
但係都成 $2xxx 一個月... ... 如果係你, 你會揀 12月定 2月???????????????????????????????

(想問下pn 由 12月至1月通常放幾多日假??)

My daughter is a "small" girl, her birthday is on 22 Dec, so she joined the school on 1st Jan the next year.
I understand your concern on "school fee vs school days". I also faced that situation at that time - the Chinese New year holidays. Since I want my daughter started K1 when she met 2yr 8 months old(not want delay 1 yr), I decided to start the nursery lessons as early as possible, so that she would not lag behind the others.

my opinion is that if your daughter will start school on 1st Dec, why don't join it?

My daughter changed to St Catherine kindergarten then.

Why?
because the syllabus in St simon is simple compared to other kindergartens.

But for self care learning and sharing is OK. Children are more independant then.
More, they are good on toilet training!!!

Good to hear that they are good on toilet training, Jun was not able to do it yet, not even show the sign of "urgencies"

Don't worry about the toilet training.
the headmaster always say that your kids should know that!
As far as I can remember, they don't allow kids wear pampers at school.
You need to put more underwears and short trousers in the schoolbags.
they teach them the urgency, the call , put down and up the underwear....... Rachel learnt toileting in a week!!!

That's right, he is not allow to wear diapers, I think I'll have to prepare at least 4 spare pair of trousers in his bag!

hi, 我都唸住出年比仔仔讀呢間,仔仔平時99揍的,晚上放工接回家,因要方便99(住西貢市,近翠塘),因西貢無得選擇,只得呢間.

its good if you can building up the voiding habit for your children, don't worry if they fail to do so

Teachers in St simon can help the children to keep out from diaper.
My daughter started toilet training since the first school day.

I was out of town the whole week, this was what I heard:
Jun didn't cry the first "alone" day, to my suprise, that's only because he didn't know that he will be left behind...He cried everyday when dad & grandma left, but the school master said he was ok at school, at least he was willing to eat the breakfast. Last thursday, Jun was in bad mood that he cried and not even willing to left home, so he stayed at home all day. Left friday is fine, at least he can leave home, cried again when arrive the school. Let's see his behavior this week, while I'm back now...
