我家姐話d款ok又唔貴.

我都聽人講過香港款式比較先進d,如過係香港買平靚正, 再加埋先進, 我都考慮係香港買過去

koala, i did bought the transformer over from sham shui po for HK$180, just in case we need those. but so far.. not using them very often.

if you are talking about the LCD TV, unless you have some one to give to... of course, take it over la. LCD TV here is expensive.. but one of the draw back is the TV in HK donot have enough channel for the TV here..
any TV bought in canada does carry 99 channels. for those in HK.. may have less channels...

it's ok for him. my bb also travel to west coast when he's 18 months. both parents very tired thought the flight, no sleepy need to play with cos bb's very exciting.

hunny 999 & tazmanic,

I'm now in Vancouver with my 16 month old boy. He's happy and recover from the jetlag very quickly. I bought a lot of great preschool exercse books from chapters.

Getting on BK in Vancouver is really slow! I can't bear with it, it takes few minutes to load a page.

Hunny999, any suggestions of where to shop/ walk around with baby boy? I've been to chapters / babies rus / superstore for babies stuff.

hi, I am from vancouver as well.
I think for Vancouver, the weather is so good that we can bring the bb/kids to play in the park, let him see more people or other kids. My son is 3 yrs old now. He spent this summer holidays both last yr and this yr. He loves going to the park on Steveston Road, next to steveston community centre.

Sometimes, community centers got lots of activity class as well.

Personally, the Richmond library is also good too as they have lots of kids books, which your boy might be attracted by the colourful books and environment.

Dear tazmanic,
I brought my son to Toronto when he was 16 months old. It's not too bad coz he could sleep on the flight. I picked the front seat and put the blanket on the floor. I brought a lot of toys and he sat on the blanket and played. There were baby food and I also brought milk for him. I think it's easier to bring kids under 2 years old for long trip coz they won't run around and can sleep for longer time.

Shopping, i prefer to buy baby stuff at walmart in New Westminister, also have an outlet nearby (tommy, esprit, mexx, pet catera....)
For baby, go to Central Park at Boundary St. to feed the ducks, kids will never see a real duck in hk!

They didn't give me a bassinet on the plane but they will tell you which seat is vacant nearby and my husband moved there so bb and me occupied 4 seat in front of the tv. when you book ticket, phone airline and notify them you will have an infant and they will arrange the front row for you. if your bb can eat solid feed like rice, noodle, meat and vegetable, request a child meal better then a infant meal (heinz bottle food and juice). bring a little bottle of water or juice and ask bb to drink when departing and arriving, can comfort his ear plain.
