Dear Yi,
關於有真人面見工人的agency, 已pm給係, 但係選唔選到好的就要靠你的眼光.

最近我與朋友談及她的bunbun, 她的bunbun有新加坡及香港經驗, 更是照顧由new born to 4 years old. 看似很有經驗, 但竟然在好仔仔(6 years old) 發燒時給他drink 朱古力奶, 真的氣死吧.

不防在面見工人時加入這條問題, 看她的回复是怎樣。

My Bunbun is very much like yours. She is 38, divorced with 3 children - 2 girls and a boy, the two older girls are now at nursing college in Manila and the boy 16 years old at school in home town living with my Bunbun's mother. I must say, she does have alot of experience with children and very good with mine, such that she teaches him alot on daily life as well as from books and play & sing songs too. She is hired mainly to take care of my son and the rest of the household chores including cooking everynight while I'm a full time mum to take care of my children. She too like to read cook books when she find times. My children goes to sleep quite early compare to alot of HK children, around 7:30pm, so she organises her time well with chores done to meet my son's demand. She even help me out to get my son ready to start the day such as cook & give breakfast to my son and bathe him on the mornings of her holidays as I do not have anyone else to come to help me like mother-in-law or my mum so on those nights I don't mind if she comes home only half an hour late since she doesn't usually leave until 9-9:30am those mornings. Besides, she is always going to her relatives in Tai Po on her day off, as her brother-in-law is a minister in one of the churches there and she always say her money will go a longer way there cuz its cheaper in that district. My son now goes to playgroup 3 times a week and its a special time for me and my son to spend together so he equally depends on me & my maid so I won't feel jealous. So I too will look for maid with similar qualities in the future too. However, I now have to look for a maid for my grandmother-in-law so qualities required will be different lu!!

Hi! The helpers are take a travel visa to HK for 14 days by that agency.

thank you very much for sharing your experience here, i do find it very useful for me because i need to employ a maid this month but have no idea of how to do it....... it makes me nervous......

我現在收集緊面試工人時需要問的問題，請問各位媽咪有冇意見？

我諗住問的問題：

1 介紹自己，family background, working experience etc
2 how do you describe your relationship with your current/ex employer?
3what do you like to do after working hour?
4 where do you usually go during your holiday
5what will you do if kids having fever/hurt?
6what will you do if a stranger come to look for employer/ what will do if a stranger phones to look for employer?
7If we have some misunderstand, what will you do?
8 If you broke things in the house by accident, what will you do?
9If I have urgent matters ask you to stay during your holiday, are you willing to?

Please add more......I want more open end question instead of yes/no questions...thank you very much!!

Your questions are very detail already. I just want to add 2 questions more.

1. If it's time to perpare dinner, but the kids wanna you play with them. What will you do?
2. If the kids drop the milk on the floor, what will you talk with the kids?
