I am still thinking which len should I buy...50mm f1.4 or 85mm f1.8....if mainly focus for bb who is crawling all the times...Any advice?

Herobb,
As I have mentioned, 85mm gives you better image than the 50mm f1.4, but the range is a little bit difficult to use indoor, you have to stand at least 6 to 8 ft. away to take photo.
For better usage (in term of range and distance), go for the 50mm f1.4

If I were u, I will choose the 85mm f1.8 and if got sufficient $, buy the 50mm f1.8 too

Thank you...If I usualy take big head photo, 85mm f1.8 is better than 50mm f1.8, right? why there is a big different between these two lens?? Last time I checked for 85mm f1.8 is made in Japan.. Is that the main reason to make the price high?

85mm will be better

Difference in price is not because of the country of origin, but the manufacturing process.
For a longer range lens, to make it with large aperture, the cost is much higher as larger pieces of lens have to be use.
e.g. a 80-200 f2.8 cost HK$6,500 while that of 70-300 f4-5.6 cost only $750

The lowest price I know is DC Fever, $11580, same price for the Grey version, which shall cost $400 more in Wing Shing or Man Shing.

85mm f1.8 都幾好咖, 收到f2.8就好正. 影期日影下我個女俾你參考下啦, 你想我用D70 or D200?

use D200 lar as I only have D200. BTW, the photo is not so sharp when I previously used A09. I am not sure whether we set to 人像 mode.. Do you encounter this problem?

我未試過用人像mode, 多數用A mode, 如果用A09影大頭相, 用f4就會幾sharp.

聽講A09好怪, 可能因為是大陸做, 通常都要再tune 一 tune才 sharp, 有人話tune完之後f2,8都好sharp. 我下星期有時間會摞我支去tune下. 十幾分鐘可以搞掂.

可能會明天試, 希望明天返來仲有太陽啦. 周末要入Camp, 上唔倒BK.

Where can I take A09 to tune? I usually take big head photo and the reason why I buy this len is for using f2.8..If I can't use, I can use my nikon 28-75
