Yes, the DVDs are EXACTLY the same, I am comparing the HK$2899 set with 79books and 10DVDs (I bought from MI), with $150 set (I bought from 7-11). If you don't need the books, $150 is really a good deal.
I have one set (10dvd). I buy it in choi hung MTR 7-11.
May I know it is only one set only (10dvd)or has 5 different sets (50 different dvds) ? i.e. a whole set is only 10 dvds?

but publisher only choose 50 famous story to produce...
HK version have 79 stories, but it 's VCD version and quality little better than DVD...retail price HK$480
and onsale HK$380 at jusco..VCD store...Bookstore

I just bought one set on 3/F of Worldwide House in Central, no coupon is required. The staff told me if there is any defects of the DVD, welcome me to change another one.
